| I joined these guys and agreed to follow their terms. The terms stated to not bid on certain trademark terms. I did not. After generating them thousands of dollars I was terminated as an affiliate and all of my earned commissions were canceled. They claimed I bid on branded keywords but I did not. Google Adwords elected to broadmatch some of my terms that included trademarks that were a far cry from the words that I did bid on. I was told that I should of known to use "negative keywords", but like all other programs I have ever dealt with, this was not in the terms. In as much as it is impossible to have a perfect exclusion list with Adwords or any payperclick platform. There are too many possible variations of branded keywords or possible misspellings. For this reason it is a known industry standard to include the required use of negative keywords in the terms of the contract. The level at which any given company wants to protect their trademark is not static. Some firms are happy with you not bidding on certain keywords while others demand certain negative keywords be listed in your affiliate campaigns. Clearlink never mentioned the use of such negative keywords in their terms of this particular service product I was marketing nor in any conversation. As far as I know I could of been set up to take a fall so that that my commissions would be stolen in the future. There is noway to know as they refused any compromise. In as much when I signed up with them I was told to use a particular link so that my sales "would be completely tracked". Yet there were numerous telephone numbers and tracking codes on the landing page provided that did not contain my tracking information but theirs or perhaps one of their employees that is corrupt. I gave them the benefit of the doubt in spite of this and continued my campaign after the corrections were made. However when the main firm of the offer I was promoting, their supplier, contacted them about certain keywords showing up in the search results under my ad, I was blamed for it as they failed to mention they do not state or require the use of negative keywords in their terms. If you decide to allow Clearlink to market your products they may misrepresent your terms to their affiliates. If you decide to market one of their products or services they may decide to make the terms retroactive as a justification to blame you for something and/or to steal your commissions. |

| Clearlink has contacted me as their Rep. also apologized. In as much as I was too hasty myself in retrospect. I would of removed this report but am not allowed to on this service. I think Clearlink is an organization one can trust. We just got into a mixup that snowballed. |

| they have had problems over past couple of years and yes whenJR C. and others left it was all changed again i am using as a backup program that has a much much more to offer{all major companies to the point tha twe can answer the big put off "I think i am going to my cable co or a certain sat tv int and phone... about 20 plus major players as att u verse verizon fios dish direct hughe comcast adt ge free system ge simon equipt which protects my home and biz for every major brand i can give it to them they do not have to go elsewhere we have all products/services, improved grouponw/ destinatios all groupon crap and about 8 or10 plus others you get e mails daily and its not a massage at 87% off but searcable particlar offers from travel, low rate and last minute condos or vaction homes to rent... i donot even know how extensively it can be utilized. been too busy getting my people acclimated on how to best prome this program. i am really liking the program so much i would feel its woth the low montly fee for providing training, websit... but it is worth it even if you only work a few hours a month and wind up saving just using the dicounts i could go on and on bottom line stay away from vmc!!!1st i would not mind passing it on and no the do not pay a 2nd tier i do not think there are as said so many things that are out of your hands and have to trust their tracking and cookies for a customer calling the call centers not having your pro code the have it an you should get full comm and the cross selling that the do for bonus money... i have worked for last couple of years and am finally comfortable w/the affiliate program it woks if you work the program it will work for you!!! sounds like a 12 step program...lol but finding the right program and having an sdvertising budjet and you keep pouring money in and call detail reports show 20 plus minute call disconnect on hold bulshit if i drive traffic by toll free or having them go to you site they better answer the f______ calls 24 hrs thatdoes. these other programsneed to hire more people hold up to thier ptocol. end of deal up as we are expected of you. as mentioned in comment that i posted this for sounds like he figured it out! 1 last thing i called my new affiliate support person in the afternoon my site was up, e mails kept coming with everthing from biz cards, creative or pre approved flers. door hangers, traing videos and was in biz by end of day!!! done quickly and professioal as it shold be i have a lot more lil trcks ... and all preaproved materials that you can open pdf and the company names, offers, , , you do have to open, print and get them out!!! i can be reached at 985-707-2551 from 12:30 pm central to 5 0r 6pm good luck you just have to adjust to be in synch w/ program and go w/ the flow good luck be carefull... also you do have to trust that they do give comm to correct affliate and w/OUT EVER REALLY KNOWING.
