Clark's Goldens Clarksgoldens Neglectful Puppy Mill Green Cove Springs, Florida |

This puppy mill sells Golden Retrievers for $1,000 each, yet can't make sure the parents are healthy. I adopted one of the mothers that had been retired. The two women that rescued her made sure to take her to the vet before bringing her to me. She had fleas, ticks, parasites and worms.
I was told that she had been in a very small pen, had only one toy, and was neglected- I BELIEVE IT!!!! When she came to our home, she was 8 yrs old, and had never known any affection. She was scared to come inside, scared to know love, scared to eat her own food, scared to even use the bathroom outside. She is now thriving, but at what cost?? I'm just happy she gets to spend the rest of her life with us- inside, spoiled, and VERY loved!
This man sells puppies for so much money, but can't take care of the mamas that are making him this money. On his website, he discourages people from adopting from a shelter! Please do not pay the money to this man, I hope that he will be reported and shut down very soon! |

We live in Texas, but purchased a puppy from Mr. & Mrs. Clark. She was very healthy and thriving, and they made sure she was shipped with TLC. They are Christian people and stand behind their dogs, who are treated like family. My uncle had purchased a dog from them initially, and it was his recommendation that brought us to Clark's Goldens. We are SO happy with our dog, that we are getting another puppy from the Clarks'. I'm not sure what the situation is with this particular female, but any dog who has been in the company of lots of other dogs and people for 8 years would probably display signs of stress suddenly going to a new home and being alone (but you sound like a dog lover who will make her golden years happy!) I can't imagine that she was kept solely in a pen, because the Clarks have a huge piece of land just so their dogs have room to roam. They raise wonderful FAMILY puppies - and are very reasonably priced (most English Golden's are $1500-$2800!) so they are not trying to "get rich" off their dogs. They are kind, good people and are very careful about the families that adopt their puppies so I know they love their dogs. |
