Chuck Goldstein Keller Williams Lying, Unethical, Rude, Greenacres, Florida |

Chuck Goldstein of Keller Williams Realty in Palm Beach County is an unethical and extremely rude Realtor. I have bought and sold over 5 properties in the past 10 years, and I have never been treated so disrespectfully and so dishonestly by any real estate professional. I recently tried to renew my lease and Chuck blatantly violated the Realtor Code of Ethics in the process by lying to me and misrepresenting his client (the landlord). In short, I offered to renew the lease at the current price, but Chuck said the landlord wanted to raise the rent by $100 (this was a bold-faced lie...the landlord did NOT want to raise the rent). I decided to move out, but before I moved out there was a problem with the A/C unit, so I called the landlord to let him know. During this phone call, he said he was glad I was staying in the unit and I should be getting the lease to sign from Chuck very soon...you can imagine the surprise when I told him Chuck said he wanted to raise the rent and that I was moving out. Chuck Goldstein's greed led him to unilaterally (without the landlord's permission) to raise the rent and cost his client a reliable tenant in the process! I was as shocked as the landlord was when we discovered Chuck's lies. Furthermore, when I moved into this unit several years ago he treated me will shocking and complete disrespect. On the day of the lease signing Chuck had a party to go to that evening. So, as a courtesy, I left work and hour early and drove 30 minutes to meet him at a hotel lobby. After waiting for 15 minutes, I called him to tell him I was waiting for him and to find out how much longer I would need to wait. His response? Screaming at me at the top of his lungs! He literally yelled at me that he would "get there when he gets there." I also shared this story with the landlord when we discovered Chuck's lies, and he said the last tenant made a similar complaint about Chuck too! So this is obviously a pattern of disrespect. Believe it or not, there is more: he also resisted when I asked for 2 mail keys instead of 1 (he said my wife and I should share one key), and he waited almost 2 months to remove the key box from the front door (after 4 calls, he finally came by to remove the box). Chuck Goldstein gives Realtors a bad name, folks. STAY AWAY!!!! |
