Well for starters I used my card to check into the Marriot hotel located by Texas motor Speedway. A week after I stayed there I had a 250 dollar charge on my card. I didn't order room service or anything I did have dinner in the dining room. I called my bank and they referred me to Marriott saying they were charging me for smoking, now never mind my 6 year old has asthma and has to use a nebulizer sometimes to breath so smoking was not an issue but I was told they found an ash... well I filed a complaint with my bank CHASE and they said there was nothing they could do about this and my card has a visa logo on it (more on that later because visa is also liable if they allow the name to be placed on the card I get all the protection that is promised.) Next I bought a tablet online from a company www.lightinthebox.com and I paid 174 dollars for it I was kinda excited when I got it I opened the box and bam the screen was shattered. So I requested a refund and this company refused to send me a replacement even after i immediately wrote them it would be easy to check the delivery time vs. the time I made the request they continued to refuse, chase put the money back in my account for one day and then said the company wouldn't refund my money and I would not get my money back again protected by visa. I told the guy that it was wrong and was protected against that and this was the second time I have had money taken from my account and they refused to honor the viisa logo, refused to refund the money that was taken out of my account which comes to about 424 dollars I know that banks are mad but this is just another way they are trying to get your money back. Try it and see what they do. They won't come off of any money even though your supposed to be protected by your bank. Chase has in fact proved that they are not on the consumers side. If I set the broken product on the desk of a Chase employee and they don't care nor want to fix the issue then that just means they mean to keep your money. Has anyone else had this same issue because I want to sue them so bad. I generally record calls like this for my protection they have a recording saying they are recording my call and I said I was recording the call because the customer service rep was being rude and telling me that I was not going to get my money back no matter what, seems to me its time to change banks..If anyone else has had problems please let me know because Chase unfortunately beginning to scam people. Chase is a scam do not bank with them... |
