We are a small company the used paypal also and at customers request we found Charge.com and decided to apply for services. We were never made aware or all of the Hidden fees, and in two parts of the application we opted out of American Express. They processed the application, including for American Express against expressed permission. A cancellation fee was not listed in any of the documentation that was read during the application process. We set up our ebay store to accept the credit cards, after I had to contact them and change the gateway (as the one the provided was not supported by ebay checkout) and we kept getting messages saying that something was wrong, every time a customer attempted to use a credit card. We lost a few customers due to this issue, and when I finally realized what was happening and after hours on hold and being told to call different numbers, It came down to Cynergy not fully activating the account. At that point we were promised refunds and that the account would be suspended until it could get fully activated. The charges from numerous companies just continued. Even after cancellation requests. It took 3 months to finally get them to send us a cancellation form, and even after the form was submitted they are still attempting to charge. (The bank has denied most of them for fraud) But Cynergy just uses a different account to charge bank accounts that the bank has blocked any activity from. We have filed a complaint with Florida Attorney Generals Office, so far to no avail. The sales person that calls back when you try to cancel is very bullying and difficult to deal with, and does not hold up his end of any bargains that he makes with you, and he does not cancel account. Please if you are looking for a way to take credit cards, stay away from them. |
