In April 2011 I placed an order for five items. The order number is: #C000269079. One of the items, a purple swimsuit was on backorder until May, according to the packing slip I received with the other 4 items. When the swimsuit finally arrived, it was the wrong size. On 6/2/11, I called and spoke with Mary, who advised me to send the suit back for a refund (as the correct size was no longer available) and I would receive a refund back to my Chadwick's card for the price of the item and the shipping: $34.54. I returned not only this swimsuit, but two other items from the order that didn't fit (2 skirts). On 6/8/11, the package was delivered to them. Some time passed and i did not see a credit to my card, so I called them. 9/16/11, I called and spoke to a rep who confirmed that my items had been received and that I was due a credit of $34.54 for the swimsuit and $30.46 for the two skirts. I told her that I had not yet received my refund. She placed me on hold and then another rep named Susan came on the line. She again confirmed that I was due the credit, but that due to restructuring, it would take about 45-60 days for them to either issue the refund or that I would receive a letter in the mail letting me know the status. I don't know why I was not upset on this day, but I've been a customer of theirs for YEARS, so I trusted what she said and decided to be patient. Sometime within the last two weeks, I emailed them, but got no response. I Tried to submit a query on their website, but it doesn't work. On 11/28/11, I started calling again, but their phone system leaves you on hold "due to high call volume" and after twenty minutes, disconnects your call, so that you have to call back again and be in queue again. I did this three times in a row between 9:14 and 10:14am. I also tried contacting Chadwick's Credit Card about getting my refund, but they told me I had to contact the customer service number for the catalog department (877-330-3393 - the same one that leaves you on hold). I can't reach anyone anymore for an answer. I know they are still in business because i am still receiving emails and catalogs from them. They are receiving money from other unsuspecting customers, so they should also have money to refund me for the merchandise NO LONGER IN MY POSSESSION AND PAID FOR. |

I too, have been taken by this company. DO NOT place orders with this company! We placed an order over a month ago, they received payment, but we never received the item. After numerous calls and being on hold forever, have been unable to speak to customer service and from what I've read, this is the case for many people. There just is no customer service! Nor with they or their sister company Metrostyle, answer the numerous emails with contact info sent to them by this consumer. I for one, will be posting reviews and seeking any remedy possible to insure this does not happen to other unsuspecting consumers. I truly wish we had read reviews prior to throwing money away on a product that will never arrive. |

I placed an order on Dec 5th and still have not received my order and called and was put on hold for a very long time. I talked to a man and he said my order had not left the warehouse yet. He said I would receive an e-mail soon letting me know when it left. I have heard nothing yet. The web site does not work and he said it was being updated. I don't know what to think because they have always been real good about my orders. I don't know what to do. |
