Review complaint of CFM Leads, cfmleads.com CFM Directories, CFM Data Network, 56 Leads: Spoke to Cathy in December of 2010 who convinced me to spend nearly $500 on email lists based on them having a successful hit rate of at least 70%. She verified this with her 'tech team' more than once prior to me purchasing the list. The final list I received from them had a 'hit rate' of less than 30% which is completely unacceptable and makes purchasing and utilizing a volume list like this one pointless.
The purpose is to be able to market products and services to a high volume of opt-in email recipients. Upon further follow up with Kasey the 'tech', he explained they couldn't do anything about it and would not issue a refund, even though a simple test of the list would prove I have a legitimate complaint.
I paid immediately for the lists they sold me. Stay away from - bad data - no good

Response on Ripoffreport.com by owner of the company:
We work with a few email providers. There is a multitude of variables when sending a successful email campaign. This particular customer chose to use their own service. We can't be held responsible for something we can't monitor or have no control over. Plus when sending UCE (Unsolicited Commercial email) anyone experienced knows that a rate of 30% is phenomenal.
We offered the customer a free month with one of the providers we work with, but I guess they weren't interested.
I urge everyone to do their due diligence before sending an email campaign... It is a tricky way to advertise, but when done correctly, it can pay off. |

businesslist.com is a scam, I ordered a list from them from http://businesslist.com/notifications/ then get an unprofessional looking order receipt from THEDIRECTORY.COM after weeks of hearing nothing get an email from this guy apologizing which I've posted below but then many emails and unanswered phone calls later and 3 more months go by and nothing, nada, zip, voicemail is full and no answers on their order and support lines.

FYI: I forgot to say they changed their name to THEDIRECTORY.COM and did a press release that businesslist.com was purchased by them, that's a lie, same owner just a new domain. My purchase from businesslist.com get a cheesy looking email receipt from THEDIRECTORY.com
Stay away from these guys, bad news! |

This is so ridiculous how are these guys in business? 95% of all the phone call I make, emails I send and faxes are coming back as no good. How can they sell this product. I cannot be the only one with this problem. These guys’ should be out of business. |
