I have initially received the quote for $1150. I had requested the discount in travel time and got the quote for $1000. Onsite representative Abu asked me to sign the papers which is not filled in the information. He told me that he will fill that later after loading items. After loading he filled the amount which is irrelevant to quote contract and the amount he mentioned is $1465 for local move. When I asked him the details he said talked to our manager and left from there. They worked in onsite for 1 hour and 45 mins and mentioned the time as 2 hrs 15 mins.
I had asked for the receipt for $1700 to cover my other expenses regarding the move like buying the materials from my side and packing it before loading. Later I realized that this is not legal because I should show correct details in income tax declaration for the expenses. Also they should pay income tax for the amount. I had requested them to charge me whatever agreed upon the contract and reduce the labour hours worked which comes around $775. Also I sent couple of mails to provide correct receipt with correct amount for the expense.
I never received response back and I had to call them multiple times but nobody answered well. Later I received the receipt for $1899.94 as final moving cost.
