Central Refrigerated Services CRS, Central, CRS Inc Lease Scam and ILLEGAL wage deductions West Valley City, Utah |
7th of Dec, 2011 by User790739 |
I worked for Central Refrigerated Services West Valley City Utah for about 3 months before they reassigned me a truck that was not able to perform. Numerous times it died on me due to the regen system not working properly. So I took said truck in to the West Valley terminal where I was told it would about 8 to 10 weeks for them to get the truck fixed which would not be coming back because it was too old. So I was forced to sign a lease or be stuck, cause they would not comp me room to stay while the truck was being worked on, had no other trucks for company drivers and would not house my stuff while i recovered a truck from the east coast. During the month of October 2011 I drove 3364 for the week of 10-04-11, 1755 for 10-11-11, 422 10-18-11, 1717 10-25-11 and then 2670 for 11-01-11, all of which they said I got paid for but received no money for any of it. I quit as of 11-03-11 and have not received any type of pay or reimbursement as they said would be. Also they are charging me for the lease on the truck, when clearly I was an employee AND when the truck was return to Central Refrigerated, according to federal law, when any real property that is leased is returned the the leasing company(owner) the payments are therefore ceased at said time. So not only was I an employee, but I would not owe them anything for the truck. Also seeing as how CRS re-leased the vehicle out from under me my lease contract would therefore, at that time, be null and void. As of this moment I am in the hole, in-debt to Central almost $5500 for three months. Central needs to be brought down and let known that we as employees, are not going to stand for them embezzling money from us and trying to get away with it. I want what I am owed as an employee and none of the BS that Central is trying to force upon me while I, in my legal rights both federal and judicial, are not obligated to fulfill or uphold. |
