| Cash Advance USA Telephone harrassment re: apparent lawsuit against me Internet |

| I have received approximately 30 calls from some company claiming to be "Legal Department" calling on behalf of Cash Advance USA, stating that I am being sued for "fraud". They call my cell and work phone from different telephone numbers, and I have spoken to them twice. I am assuming this "Legal Department" is a call center in India, as the callers, and "Supervisors" that I spoke to twice have very thick accents, and I can hear many people speaking in the background. The first time I spoke to someone was about a month ago, and when they told me they were calling to inform me of a lawsuit against me, and wanted my legal counsel's name and address (scare tactics, I assume), I informed tham, that althought I filled out information on a few Payday Advance sites, I never went through with submitting the application, or accepting any loan payments. If Cash Advance USA believes differently, they need to send me something in writing staing how much the loan was, when it was paid to me, and how it was paid to me. The "supervisor" could answer none of these questions for me. He said his job was to inform me of the lawsuit. I received another call today from a "supervisor", giving me the same speech I got a month ago, and that "they don't have time" to serve me in person with paperwork. I explained that they had been calling me for a month, and had plenty of time to send me something in the mail. I suppose they believe that people they harrass will have no idea how the actual American Judicial system works. When I explained, that I had not been served with any papers whatsoever, he had no reply other than, "we will sue your employer too". What?!?!? That doesn't even make sense. I wish I had a valid phone number for them to add to this website, but when I attempt to call the phone numbers back that show up on my caller ID, I get a "phone number not in service" recording. Interesting. |

| These bastard state they are calling from the legal department of PCS and the # that appearss when they call. ...is like the # when u receive a call from san diego county jail they use carrier PCS. But the bastards are public conolidation service 347 514 8481. They have very thick accent but u can get someone one the line with no accent they are rude and they will call u every couple minutes . They started. Harrassing me last year and I got them to stop but all of the sudden they are harrassing me again. |

| I called them and told them that I have reported them and that if they call my phone one more time, I will pursue legal actions against them. He said "Not a worry ma'am" and hung up. |

| i just got a call from the legal department from Cash Advance USA (916)238-8305 said that legal action has been taken against me for stating that I am being sued for "fraud, now i can pay 3, 245 to end al of this righ now, or we you can pay 200 right and 200 on your next pay day until the bill is paid off. i said i cant pay this rigth now but i'll give 50 and work on it, the man said NO, i'll be happy to see you in jail sir and hung up on me |

| I just started receiving calls. Every time I ask them what is the name if the company they just tell me to hire a lawyer and call back with his number. When I go to answer questions they hang up on me. They read me an affidavit stating they are going to call My job, the sheriff an have me arrested. I too never went through with the loans and just applied. It scared the heck out of me because I work at a bank and thy is all I need is for this to show up.. Any suggestions on how to stop these people? Is it a real claim? |

| I have been receiving these same type of calls from a Ronnie Jackson at 951 226 5638. He has been threatening me with saying that I am going to jail for fraud. He is telling me that I have to pay $745.00 and that I can't make payment arrangements. I found this so weird because I had pay day loans before and they are always willing to help you when you need to make an arrangement. These people need to get caught. |

| I have been receiving calls as well from a strong accented John Harris who claims to be from Federal Crime Services. One time he's a sheriff then he says he's a chief. They want me to make green dot payments; I have never heard of such. The phone number calling me is 916-872-9541. What do I do? |

| I had the same thing happen to me this morning. I called my lawyer and he told me to disregard. I knew something was wrong when they gave me "American" names with a thick accent. He then informed me that I would be arrested, I could lose my job. He put me on hold as if he was talking to the customer. So I then asked him how can you lock me up when I have not went before the judge to declare I am innocent? He was like we need the money by 10am and it was 8:30am. I needed $700+. I am telling him I have no loans. Looked at my checking account and nothing was posted in my account. My lawyer told me to tell him go ahead and put the paperwork in. When I told him that he was like bye I am tired of talking to you bye you're getting arrested bye. Hung up the phone 760-689-9426 760-705-8888 are the numbers that called me. |

| Hi I had a voice mail stating that the Caller was a Michael Brown 916-245-0685 and to call back and not disregard the message that I have a lawsuit against me from Cash Advance USA, so I called and the person that answered had a strong accent like everyone that has mentioned in this thread. He said that I had a lawsuit against me wouldn't state the amount I owed and just said as an example 100 to 10, 000 dollars and when I started getting pissed off he said that I needed to talk to my attorney, which I do not have. I told him that I have never had a loan with Cash Advance USA and he said that I would be going to jail and good luck. I am shocked and still pissed off. He also said that I would be arrested for fraud, money laundering and theft. WHAT?????? |

| Omg... i got the same call today they left me a voicemail message telling mee the same thing, i know that i have some bills but i have never taken out any online loans, i actually got scared n started lookin thriugh my mail, after noot finding anything i deided to call back but he kept hanging up on me thlen he just anawered the phone but he didnt say anything he just held the phone after picking up everytime i called back. He was so creepy n i dnt like the fact that someone has all of myy onfo, something needs to be done about this!!! They called from 4159527351 he really tcked me off!!! |

| the phone number to this "lawyer" is Taylors and associates out of Clevland, Ohio. #1-216-774-9385. when you research this number, it comes up YMax communicationd corp. They are the creators of majic jack. They just tried to get me an hour ago. i have severe panic and anxiety and they really freaked me out. I called my bank and they researched that there was NEVER A DEPOSIT MADE TO MY ACCOUT EXCEPT MY MONTHLY DISABILITY PAYMENTS. THEY SAY THEY ARE A PARENT ORGANIZATION LINKED TO CASH ADVANCE USA. it took a police officer to calm me down and reassure me. my identity was stolen in Feb. so, unfortunately this "lawyer had my name and social. I already have new security on my life., |

| I have gotten many of these calls recently. I know it is a total scam and am so frustrated that nothing can be done. Just last week i got 80 calls in one day! I have started calling them repeatedley to piss them off. Give it a try! Habib (aka John Smith) gets pissed very easily! |
