I applied for a new truck loan on December 5th 2011, I got a call back from the dealership on December 6th 2011 saying I was approved and the terms of the loan, I took a day to make a decision and decieded to buy the new truck,I informed the dealership that I coul'nt get there to the 28th of December and they said that was fine and they would see me then. At the time I started dealing with Chris the sales manager who should not be in that role! I stayed in touch with the dealership on a regular basis and proceded up there on the 28th of December to pick up my new truck, I picked up the truck, signed a retail sales contract with the dealership listed as the creditor, the sales manager Chris informed me they were holding the criyical paper work until they got paid which consists of my tittle aplacation and my sales tax form, I should have know something was up right then as many people I talked to including a Sheriffs Deputy have never heard of such a thing. I got a call from the sales manager Chris on Friday December 30th who said there was a problem with the financing and he might have to come take his truck back, I was pretty upset since I sold my old truck thinking I was all set to buy this new one, I worked with the finance company until Tuesday Jan,3rd,2012 when they declined the loan, at that point Chris said there was nothing he could do to work out the deal and refused to let me talk to the owner of the dealership as I had requested, I told him I'd see him in court and his response was great i'll bring you a cofffee, What a ASS!!!!!!!!!!! I agreed to drop the truck off at a dealership in my area because he had my back to the wall. The next morning he called me and I told him where I had left the truck at that dealership,15 minutes later he called me back and told me the truck was'nt there and accused me of not dropping it off and said he was going to put a APB out on the truck, I called the same dealership and the truck was right were I left it, When I was dealing with Chris the sales manager I asked him how we could work this out and his agorant response was give me $31,000 dollars and well be good. I still have the signed retail contract and I'm pursing this issuse full force as it could cost me my job!! If any one has any advice about how to proceed with this matter I'm listening, I recomend nobody should do Bussiness with Carrolls Auto Sales Of Presque Isle,Maine And Caribu Buick OF Caribu, maine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
