| The guys are a huge scam! Patrick Carpenter came to my home to bid on a remodel I was doing. Upon agreeing on a price he said there would be a deposit of 500.00. I wrote the check and we agreed that he would start the job at 9am the following morning. I took the day off from work to be there with them and had arranged others to be there for him as he would be in my home. 9AM came and went, Patrick would not answer his phone, would not respond to emails, texts, or voicemails. His phone had been disconnected. I finally got a hold of one of his crew members listed on his web site. Magically, Patrick's phone began to work again (because he cashed my check and paid his bill) He said that he got called away to finish another job, but assured me he would be at my home the very next morning (before 9am). I took yet another day off from work. No suprise to me 9am came and went again. I text... he responds with a very cocky attitude. He tells me to calm down. He is on his way. Mind you, this is after 11 o'clock. Thus far he is a day and a half late and he is telling me to calm down! He finally does arrive at 1:30. He did a very Bad job on the small amout of work that he did do (appraised at 50.00 by another contractor) He left without saying anything 3 hours after arriving. When I realized he had left I saw he had stolen some of my supplies (valued at 85.00) When called on it he gave me some lame excuses why he quit. The fact is he scammed me out of 500.00 and stole my supplies. I will be prosecuting him in court. Beware! |

| I feel your pain. I too was recently ripped-off by this man. I stupidly gave him a deposit before he started any work and he never showed, never answer my calls unless I called from a different phone, never came to give me back my money. I have already made plans to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law. I had made plans to confront him but I cancelled because I felt what I would have done to him would not be worth losing my freedom. He will get what is coming to him you can believe that. Vengeance is mine says the Lord so I plan to let God and law handle Mr. Carpenter, if that is indeed his real name. |

| Can I contact you guys?? I'm dealing with this person and he is not finishing the job. He took the money and ran. Now, I'm going to have to sue him and pay another contractor to complete the mess he made. |

| This dirty rotten rat bastard took $200 that I gave him upfront to do some electrical work, this was yest. 5-31-11. I normally wouldnt have given anybody money in advance, but I had extenuating circumstances. He raced straight to the bank, cashed the check, and hasn't been back to do ANY work. I have called him multiple times, he answered a couple of those times, answered vaguely, and now won't answer any calls. Then I discovered that he did the same exact thing to a mutual friend who lives in Duncanville. She said that she found out that he was doing this all over Duncanville. |

These people posting this false information about Carpenter Construction are totally wrong.
I hired Pat after reading these reviews. Pat leveled my sidewalk, and my yard. He also built an amazing stone flowerbed border with real stone not that chalk rock crap. I have done masonry work before and I can tell you these guys are really stand up guys.
There range of abilities is amazing, not only were they able to repair all my masonry needs but they welded my back iron gate together, pached my back sidewalk, and painted my rusty patio furniture for FREE!! My wife loved it!! |
