This guy is so incompetent he just can not show his face for his poor quality work. Lazy and likes to short cut his work. He owe me $120 for referral fee. this was after I got the complaint from my neighbor that his side of the fence was shoddy work. Have been calling and false promises he would show
up... Never did... See you in court!!! You can hide but you cannot run! |

I needed a fence placed and obtained several estimates. Patrick's was in the middle, but he repeatedly called me and asked for the business. I wish I would have seen these other complaints before I chose his company.
The day did not start well. they showed up at 11 am instead of 8 am. Patrick assured me they would be finished by 5 pm. They continued to work until 11:30 pm. Patrick was a unique and deceptive method of providing quotes. When he came to collect the payment he informed me it was $800 more than I expected. He had brought his two worked to the door with him (intimidation factor??) I was upset but I gave him the extra money.
They were still packing up when I moved my car. I noticed that many of the posts were sticking up much higher than the fence. I mentioned this and Patrick said they would return the next day to fix this and more. By daylight I saw several other issues with the fence, ~1-2 inch gaps between panels, fence does not touch the ground along the majority of the fence line. Trash and nails were all over the drive.
I emailed Patrick about this and also requested receipts for the additional amount I paid. When Patrick returned, they only cleaned the driveway, did not finish the work on the fence, did not address the quality issues and did not provide my receipts.
I have attempted to contact Patrick numerous times since by email and phone and he has not responded to any of my attempts. I did manage to reach him once by using another cell phone, but he immediately hung up on me once I identified myself.
Overall this was a bad experience and I can not recommend strongly enough to avoid Carpenter Contracting. Shoddy workmanship and underhanded business practices. |

These people posting this false information about Carpenter Construction are totally wrong.
I hired Pat after reading these reviews. Pat leveled my sidewalk, and my yard. He also built an amazing stone flowerbed border with real stone not that chalk rock crap. I have done masonry work before and I can tell you these guys are really stand up guys.
There range of abilities is amazing, not only were they able to repair all my masonry needs but they welded my back iron gate together, pached my back sidewalk, and painted my rusty patio furniture for FREE!! My wife loved it!! |
