Carl Newlen USPN Internet Strikes again on Flippa.com JACKSONVILLE, Ohio |
17th of Apr, 2011 by User210506 |
It seems that although I've read the other scam reports about this individual, I thought they were not based on much credible info: I was wrong! Typical case where someone pays for something, a couple of manuscripts in my case, and never receives anything. I bought the manuscripts of his Flippa.com auction, and after quite a few emails back and forth he refused to refund the money or send the manuscripts. You can see from his Flippa profile that in the last few month some other people had the same type of problem: His last email said that I'll receive the money back very soon- this was about 2 month ago.... I've started an official complain as well with the authorities in Ohio, to see what they can do about this fraudster. |

Don't believe everything you read. This guy used a fraudulent paypal account to pay me. I never received the money, of course, so I wasn't going to send anything. Also, if you check out his user name above, it links to my email account.
If you have a complaint and want to be taken seriously why not provide your name, at least, or a way to contact you?
Over the years there have been a few people posting the same complaints over and over again. Only one complaint was valid. I am not perfect. But I have been in business since 1993 and have had thousands of happy customers.
And I don't hide behind a fake name. |

This is the same ole stuff with Newlen, , he has been doing this same scam for a long time, , , He sold me two manuscripts, , I sent the money via paypal to a guy he had talked into using his paypal account. I have some 72 emails back and forth. He never delivered the product and all I got was 72 emails of spin, , lies, , , and more lies, , Just google Carl Newlen and see all the complaints. Its a wonder to me that this guy is not in jail. Come on Carl let us have another spin and lie. |

This guy is a piece of crap. Stole money from a woman I know he dated. She watched his two children, paid his bills, went grocery shopping, helped his kids with their homework, and all she got in return was a depleted bank account with a bunch of broken promises. He also "supposedly" has a terminal illness so he will say and do anything to get your money from you. Stay away from this guy because he will take your money and leave you will nothing. |

This last post was a good one. No name, of course, and these $ amounts are completely STAGGERING! I could use that kind of money right now.
Is this about the ex-wife? No, that is a different story, that ends with me having full custody and raising my two little boys on my own.
But, hey, I must be one hell of a guy to get someone to babysit, pay my bills, clean my house, and give me $10K to boot!
And where does this terminal illness come from? Geez.
Anyway, I run my business, raise my two boys (6 and 7), homeschool them, take care of the housework and laundry as best as I can. Time for a relationship? Give me a break. |

PayPal decided in our favor. What else is there to say? Most people know that PayPal usually decides in the consumer's favor, so for them to side with us says a lot about his claim.
He could also have gone to his Credit Card company and filed a claim, and my guess is that he did - and lost. Once again, what does that say?
Anyone can make a complaint against anyone else, without having to provide proof, or even their real name. In this case, the guy figures he can post his complaint all over the Internet in order that I refund his money. That is extortion in my view. And as a business owner you simply cannot give in to these things.
What can you do? I can just give my version of events and let you decide. But you should take notice that I am the only one not hiding behind a fake name.
I am certainly not the only one this happens to. It is good that consumers have a forum to post legitimate complaints, but there needs to be stricter oversight. Having to use your real identity, your real telephone number and address would be a good start. That info doesn't have to be made public, but if a business is being extorted, or having their name dragged through the mud, they should be able to have the complainant's true identity and proof that they made the post.
Then the playing field is level. If the complaint is legit - fine. But if not, the business is able to file a law suit holding the person liable for their actions. This would certainly eliminate a lot of false claims being posted on sites like these. |

My name is Mike Majzun and everything I posted above is true. There you go Carl, now everyone knows who I am. Everyone can google my name and you will find that I am a reputable person that works in the education field. Your lies continue to amaze me. People can make their own judgements about you if they want, but I wanted to give a little info on the type of person you are.
So let's go through your list of person of the year that you listed above.
"Amount of money is STAGGERING" Your right it is staggering. Especially when someone trusts you with their ATM pin number. Thanks for putting that income tax return in my mom's account like you said you were going to (sarcasm).
"full custody of your children" Well those a lose lose situation for those sweet boys who I gracially opened my home to. Your ex-wife is a drug addict and you're a habitual liar. My mother adores those kids and she was the one who home-schooled them, did laundry, cooked, shopped for groceries, and cleaned the house. How culd you when you didn't even have a working car. What did you do? You slept because you never were feeling well. Well, that and rip other people off and I have been reading on other sites. In fact, one of your boys actually started to read because of my mother. How dare you try to take credit for that!!
"one hell of a guy huh" broken promises, lies, lies, and more lies. That's how you got her to do those things. She left you when you took her money. She came back because she loves your boys and left again because she realized the type of person you are! Every day she hurts for those kids.
"terminal illness" another spin to get money. That's where it comes from Carl. It seems that you will say just about anything to try to get what you want.
You can deny my claims all you want and that's fine. I know you still have over $1000 worth of electronics that is my mother's property. She may never see those things again and that might make you feel good inside but I will never stop letting people know the type of person you are. Be warned consumers. What he may be selling could either be stolen items or just lies.
Carl, All you have to do is the right thing and return what's not yours, pay back the money you owe, and apologize like a man. Then, maybe I may gradually disappear. |
