I have to give you my honest assesment of this company. I rented from this company for a few months and have been trying to get my deposite back ever since. I was told they would mail it to me and I have yet to receive it. They stopped answering my phone calls and do not return my messages. It has been 9 months since I moved out of the rental. We saw a really large house being rented for really cheap and I called on it. We met with Gary and he was nice and made us feel comfortable with the process (except with the idea that we could be booted out at any minute, but we were willing to take the chance while our home in Texas sold and until we found a good place to rent). I still had some reservations about this. Former realestate agent with personal problems, new company, questionable business, bad economy, tending homes that are going to sell or foreclose at any second... He wrote up a contract and crossed out a few numbers and put new numbers down and told us that we would receive the deposite back when we were done. Looking at the contract it technically was not written up like that but he seemed honest with us. When it came time for us to move out and get the deposit back I was able to talk to him about 2 times of which he said he would mail the check. It never came. I have been calling and leaving messages for around 9 months now and they have stopped answering my calls and will not reply to the voice mail messages. I saw another report on here against these guys and thought it was much more personal and deeper than what I have ran into, but I wanted to let anyone know what my experience with them was like. This whole business seems shady at best. It seems to me that you have some realestate agents that didn't make it through the crash a few years ago and they are trying to fill some sort of niche. It is kind of a fake niche based on the bad economy and the fact that it takes banks a while to figure out what to do with all the houses that are foreclosing right now. My wife and I gambled a bit with these guys. If we would have been able to stay in the house for a couple of more months it would have worked out perfectly, minus the deposit. The fact that they are not responding to my messages and have not returned my deposit shows that future "subcontractors" should be careful when dealing with these people. Becareful and be prepared to move at any minute. |
