Buchtel Motors
Buchtel Motors THIEF, OVERCHARGED, kept vehicle 3 days over, $200 more than estimate for
10th of Nov, 2010 by User424760
This mechanic is a thief. I know my way around a vehicle but often don't want to hassle with the more time intensive work. I knew it was recommended to replace the timing belt on my car since it was high mileage. The original estimate was in line with other shops. He did the work, took 3 extra days to complete it then he originally said and charged me an extra $200 for unforeseen excess of labor!!!!! He wouldn't release the vehicle until I paid in full. This guy is a liar and a thief. It is a darn good thing I didn't send my wife down there. Who knows what other unneccesary work he would've done to someone who didn't know their way around a motor.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't give this guy business. He deserves a lawsuit not his own business. If you have been ripped off by him contact me because I am going to small claims court and could use other stories like mine.
