My customer requested to have a Stamped & Stained Concrete Patio in there back yard around the 1st part of May 2012. I contacted Bruno Concrete 5839 Greencraig Dr Houston, TX 77035 (281) 235-3978 www.brunoconcrete.com Contact: Desiderio, Bruno. Bruno met with my customer and showed them samples of his work from his web site ). They agreed on a stamp design and a walnut color for the patio. Bruno did not contact me about the result of the meeting or that they had decided to have the patio work done. He did tell my customer that he required 50% up front & the rest upon completion. He was given a check but did not tell my customer when he would get the work done. Bruno started the work about the time my customer were going on vacation. Bruno told them he would require the remaining amount when he finished. They did not want to pay him before they could see the completed work, but they did agree to pay Bruno but they left the check with a neighbor. When they returned from vacation and saw the poor quality of the work they called Bruno to have him come out. Bruno tried to tell them this was what he asked for yet it looked nothing like the sample. I talked to my customer the next Sunday at church to see how it all went. This was when I found out about all of this. I contacted Bruno and had him meet me at the house to inspect the work. This was the worst Stamped Stained Patio I had ever seen. Bruno tried to give me the same excuses he had given my customer. I convinced Bruno that the job was poor quality and insisted that he correct it. Bruno agreed to strip the patio and redo the stain and seal the patio so it would look better and my customer agreed that this was probably all that could be done. I had to call Bruno for over a week to get him to come back out. Bruno said he would have a crew out that afternoon to strip the sealer and put release on the dark stain to lighten it up. No one showed up and it took almost another week to get Bruno’s crew out on the stripping. At this time the crew stripped about half the patio only and left. I have been trying to get Bruno back out to complete the job. Bruno told me several times that he would be there and did not show up. Finally today July 2, 2012 I talked to Bruno and he said he was not going to do anything else on this Patio. I told him that I expected him to make this right by doing the job he was paid for or return all the money he was paid so the work could be done correctly by another company. My customer has been without the use of their back yard all summer. There patio furniture is out in the yard causing there lawn service problems in taking care of the lawn. My customer just wants to have a functional Patio that they paid Bruno $4,000.00 to do or the money returned so they can get it fixed. |
