Where to begin with Broadstar. This is by far the most un-honest, deceitful, and worthless Internet/TV provider on the face of the planet. For Starters they make it manditory to where you can only use the service that they provide in certain communities around the United States. The Internet is supposed to be 3MB, and it's worse than Dial Up. The Internet goes out for days at a time, and when you call them they act as if its "your problem not theirs".
If you look all over the Internet, there are complaints all over the board about this Company, and I don't see how the Feds or the Local Governments haven't honestly shut these guys down yet. They bill your card without authorization, they charge you for services rendered that never happened. I turned in a DVR (Because it didn't work, the 3rd one I'd gotten) 5 months ago, and they are still billing me and promising me to take it off my bill. The Internet is never fast enough for surfing the net, playing xbox 360, or anything close to that. They turned my service off when I refused to pay in May (Because it was worthless and didn't work) and then continued to bill me. I told them all I was interested in was the Internet, and that I disputed the TV and DVR charges because it never worked, and their own rep that installed it Chad knows this. My TV was even credited from Feb - May because it didn't work. When may rolled around, they hit me with a $131.00 invoice, and it still didn't work properly. I refused to pay and they shut me off, and kept billing me. I finally got my Internet Bill squared away in September, and things seemed good I told them I disputed and didn't want the TV. Out of nowhere without my Authorization they billed my card for the disputed TV Charge.
I will be moving when my lease is up and will NEVER go into another Complex that has these theives working it. Not to mention they won't respond to phone calls or emails left about their service being out or not working. They just ignore you and keep on billing you. Run from BroadStar and Never Ever go into an agreement with a Complex or Facility that uses them. The only reason why a Complex would use them is because they are getting a kick back and do not care about your needs as a renter. When asked if I could use Cox Communications, ATT Uverse, Comcast, or Suddenlink, we were informed that Broadstar is all we can use. We also didn't sign a lease agreement with Broadstar in it. Stoneleigh Centerton doens't care about it's tenants at all. Anyone that uses Broadstar could care less about their tenants, I promise you that. |
