Brick Train Shop GOT RIPPED OFF AT CHRISTMAS , Internet

I bought some items on Brick Train Shop before Christmas, hoping to surprise my 6yr old boy. To my dismay.. I also recieved a handful of instuction manuals. I think that the owners of this online store would have noticed that this is an issue,with all of the complaints that I have read, now that I have researched the company.

I would advise that NO ONE purchase anything from this company.

I lost money from the purchase and send the manuals back, and because I live in Canada, I had to pay quite a bit more to ship the manuals back.

Also, I selected 'large box' in the shipping selection, which is considerably more expensive than the other shipping options, and they actually CHARGED me for a large box, when I received an envelope full of manuals.

THey didn't refund the full total, and I expected to have a refund minus the ACTUAL shipping cost. They refunded $20 less.

All in all, this was a horrible experience, and we thought we were purchasing Lego, not Lego manuals. My husband and I looked at the website together, and we were both duped.

As someone else mentioned, please contact the BBB and continue to post your complaints.

I also purchased from "Brick Train Shop" whom has now FYI changed their name to "Bricks and Figs Lego Shop" due to all the bad publicity he has received over this scam. Moreover I found it interesting when the local paper printed an article about the business owner "Cliff Stults" and his passion for legos. Yet the business is registered under another name. I ordered $400 in legos and got a small box of manuals and was never able to get my money refunded nor contact anyone phone or email I received no response. When investigating all this I did see that Brick Train Shop was also involved in Postal Insurance Scam. This company sure has alot of fishy fraud hanging around him! DO NOT BUY BETTER YET JUST DONATE YOUR MONEY GET A RECEIPT ATLEAST THAT IS A TAX WRITEOFF
