The Bora Bora Spa is a disgrace. A family member bought me a gift package for 4 different treatments. When I first try to make an appointment, they immediately refused to honour it, because they changed owners at the begin of the year. I specified that it was recently bought and that still refuse to make an appointment downtown. They keep insisting that I go to the west islands. I do not own a car and it would take me two hours to get there at least. They offer to do all my treatments on the same day, while the card indicates that I need to make 4 visits. They told me it was fine, but I still preferred to make 4 separate visits downtown. I finally managed to make an appointment where and when I wanted. However, when I got there no one knew what I was talking about and the receptionist had to call in someone. That person told me that if I went through with my facial I would still have to go to West Island for the rest of the package. I wanted to get a refund, but I would not be able to do that if I had even one treat. So, I went home. I was not able to reach the third party that sold my cousin and he really wanted me to go through with the package. So, after several call I drop it for about a month. It was near the expiration date of the card so I make an appointment for all 4 treatments on the only day I could at West Island then a few days later I got a message from them. They had cancelled my appointment, because the where operating downtown. So, I rescheduled for downtown and they where only willing give one treatment. I complained that they were will to give everything on the card on the same at West Island, but downtown they are suddenly very strict about the rules. Because I did not want to show only to be turned away again, I call the day before, but they had schedule for the wrong hour. When I got there, they gave 2 out of the four and told me that I should complaint to the ad company to try and get a refund, while saying that they were not likely to give it to me anyway, now that I had used half of the card. They also tried to blame the previous owner's management. Interestingly enough, the current felt that it was okay call me a troublesome customer and that I needed proof that I was denied my appointments. Obviously, I do not record my telephone conversation. |
