Bait and switch tactics/fraudulent member benefits

I have been a member of BJs Wholesale Club for several years and have always shopped at Club locations. . I received several BJs Gift Cards for Christmas, and since the item I need is no longer carried at any of the Club locations I went to BJs.com. Found the item BUT.... you cannot use BJs Gift Cards online. In fact, the more you look into BJs.com, it becomes apparent that they are actually two separate entities with little or no reciprocal features at all. Items purchased online cannot be returned to stores, etc, When I called the customer service # because I could not find BJs gift cards as a payment option, the patronizing representative tried to tell me that I was the first person he had ever heard of who wanted to use a BJs Gift Card online, Please! Nice way to add insult to injury. Cancelled my membership. Truth is even at the stores, real savings/bargains are few and far between. They simply construct the illusion of bargains. Besides it never sat well with me to give my business to a store that treats its customers as guilty thieves everytime you walk out the door.
