Bizrate promised a $100 reward for completing a survey, which I did. There was no reward, but what they considered $100 worth of magazine subscriptions for which I had to pay $2 each for short-term subscriptions which automatically renewed. This was deceptive. Will I trust Bizrate in the future? Not much.

I received the same scam offer after purchasing from Xerox' site. Shame, I am a big promoter of Xerox products, but they should know better than do to business with shady players like that.

Spread this far and wide:
ALL ONLINE SURVEYS WHICH OFFER MONEY OR PRIZES ARE SCAMS! Real marketers do not need to do this.

Thanks. I was disappointed because I missed out on the survey by skipping to a different page. I got my $100 Bizrate offer while booking a hotel on Hotwire. Looks like they're everywhere!

Got a phone call out of the blue thier number
Is 617 301-8218. Asked me to take survey
Recording said I would be in lottery.
After survey said I won 100$ Walmart
Card. Just need to give them 3.95 $ shipping and handling.
To activate card. When I asked a couple more questions. They hung up.
Number is a Cambridge line bizrate.
