BioHealth College Substitute Teacher with NO CREDENTIALS/ improper computers for students/ no IT personperson San Jose, California

First, let me start off by saying...shame on me! I saw this coming yet I allowed my instincts to be swayed by a very slick and polished sales crew, namely Sam Shirazi, Jai Sharma and Robert Jones. I met Robert Jones in the front of the employment development department. He recruits new students with a very passive, low key approach and I really liked the man. He was very personable and if you talk to him, you will learn that he is a guitarist and has his own band. He talked me into this college sharing with me how great it is and that within 6-7 months I would be making 50-75 K a year in Biotech. I went in and sat down with Jai and he gave me a small tour and asked me some questions about my previous work. What they never mention is that your credits are NOT transferable and do not apply towards a degree. A student that started the same day as me said our credits were transferable to the University of Northern California in Santa Rosa...I called them and was told they would not accept the credits from this College...Great!!! 3 and a half weeks later I find this out...my own fault though. After allowing myself to believe I was going to receive a genuine education from this College after enrolling, the first 2 days of class were almost undoable. I've been to College and this was not College! They don't properly tell you your going to be CRAMMED with a full course in Biology in just 4 weeks!!! We had only 4 students in our class...1 or 2 dropped out in the 1st week, another student and myself left after 3 and a half weeks. Your Teacher will want you to do a presentation in the second to third week...BETTER NOT USE A MAC though...even though the desks in biology have a Mac on every desk and the Catalog states on page 3 under "Facilities"...equipment consists of PC/Mac computers...My presentation was not able to work on their computer/ equipment. Their IT "Genius "came into our class and could not figure how to transfer MT PowerPoint presentation to their computer. I was told I would have to start over from scratch...this took almost a full week of my time...(remember only 4 weeks of biology)..and then a final test! Oh...there's a major test every week..oh and what they didn't tell us was that these tests were a part if your Final...meaning, you were taking your Final and didn't even know it till the last week! I did some research and wound up here...the previous reports on this FAKE College are completely accurate in my experience here. The Financial Aid woman named Susanna Martinez has a snobbish attitude and I found out she is President of another Fake College down the street...Industrial Repair!!! That's why she is rarely onsite in the mornings. It's interesting to note that a student told me that she is married to Shirazi, the Principal! Well what is more important is ACCET told me it is illegal for this College to be recruiting students in front of Unemployment Department! !! Shirazi tried to get me to give him the textbook when I was being literally chased out of their facility...I told him not without a receipt or paperwork...When our instructor was unable to make it in one day, Shirazi had a former student sit in for her...This sub proceeded to share her personal problems from home, with our class! !! She told us she had no teaching credentials so we asked her to leave...We think she told on our investigative efforts about her and this College...there's more but one last item I'll share...my wife went in with me to be a witness while I returned the 200.00 book for a receipt and get official dismissal papers. We were met with Seyed Mir or Amit...He would not give me any paperwork and at 1st did not want to give me a receipt for my biology book. He became hostile and yelled at my wife for no reason in front of the receptionist. Then he said he was going to call the police! !! My wife said what for? Asking for a book receipt and dismissal papers?? Amir was pacing back and forth not knowing what to do...he began ordering the receptionist to write me a receipt to which she told him, that's not my job... Look, this College is a scam! Your money is on the line! You decide. I'm writing this to help others that might be considering College or a future job.. Ask all the right questions and if you want to buy a new car, buy the new BioHealth College model!!! No Guarantee though!!! Take care!!!
