I received an induction letter to the "Who is Who publication and it looked very official so I filled it out and submitted it. I then went online and checked it out and to my surprise i found out it was a scam. I submitted it on 12/27/11 before checking it out that same day, my mistake. the next day I got a call froma Debra Snell wanting to do a phone interview because their deadline for publication was tomorrow at 5pm eastern time. I told her to call me later since I was driving. I just wanted to be clear and free to hear what they had to say. she called me back several times and kept on trying. I called her back and the interview was interesting tosay the least, because I knew that she wanted to find out what appealed to me and that's probably how she would reel me in at the end.
After even going into detail of how i wanted my name printed she dropped me the 789.00 fee for the platinum package and a life membership, or the gold package for 5 years for 589.00. I tld her I could not afford it. then she offered me the 389.00 for 3 years to which I said no as well, because I was looking at your page by then and saw the headaches people have been going through. Thank goodness for your page you just saved me from being scammed!
I had even checked out the area code (954) they use and according to wikipedia it is the official Broward Countyin Florida State Offices area code, which made it sound kind of official.
