I first met Bill Scott when I went into La Petit Day Spa in Coronado, California. Bill was going to trim my hair and color it. I had a $200.00 gift certificate to use. It was then that we decided in lieu of trimming, I was giong to have extension put in as to avoid the growing out period of an A line hair style. I gave Bill over $500.00 in advance to order the hair from a company in Florida. He was to order the hair Fed Ex. He did not. He order and had shipped UPS and had to wait all day for the hair to be delivered on the day that I was supposed to have the extension put in. Finally, the day came to get extensions. After 5 1/2 hours and Bill taking calls from his "other" boyfriend we called it quits until the next morning. The hair looked great except for the crown where I had put on bandana to cover what wasn't finished. The next morning never came!!!for my hair that is. After 3 hours of exposure to natural elements the hair began to matte itself, shrink, tangle and look like a horse's tail. I could not get the brush(he recommended) through any part of the hair. It was glued in with chunks of glue that began to hurt my head and when washed the majority of them fell out~ I called Bill immediately and he was bothered by my call. I sent him a picture and he said that is normal, we needed to finish, cut and color. I got a second opinion, as I could not walk around with an unmanagable head of hair and sure enough, some of the hair was bad: a bad batch, the cutical in the hair was going the wrong way said the professional that gave me the second opinion, who wears extensions. In the course of a month, Bill would NOT fix my hair, refused me services (trim and color) altogether, made sure that I could not talk to the company who sold him the hair, told me he would give me some of my money back, had me give him back the hair so that it could be returned to the company who sold it, used hair that he had purchased previously and kept my hair, AND THEN LIED! He never sent back the hair for the company to refund him BUT KEPT IT!!!!!!!! The owner of the day spa has had to intercede on Bill's, behalf as he was making a mockery of her spa, and basically tell him that he had to do something about my hair and that he was very unprofessional. He has refused both of our calls, told me that he is getting a lawyer and that I needed to take a tranquilizer! To date I do not have the "bad" batch of hair that I bought. I have shorter damaged hair from the extensions. I hot an infection from having one of them taken out as it was glued so poorly that the glue had clumped onto my scalp and he persists in his denial of "bad" batch of hair and that he does NOT know how to do extensions!!!!! He said that he deserved to be paid and NO refund would be coming. I have short hair, am supposed to get the bad hair back after a month and no money. No services rendered. I am OUT $1000.00 and don't have the money to redo my hair the right way! Bill Scott Hair Designs is nothing more than Bill Scott, incopotant hair dresser!! (my opinion). All that is left is a bag of bad hair, a hole in my wallet for $1000.00, lies and have to redo when I have the money. Will be smarted next time and obviously NOT have Billy do my hair!!!! A ripoff indeed!!!!!!!!! His rent was exactly what he charged me for my hair. Funny how it worked out to be the same day as my hair appointment~~~Goodbye Billy. Good bye hair. Good buy to La Petite Day Spa. What a miserable and expensive scam!! |
