Big Rebel Media LLC webgamegame scam on Free games Internet |

I was looking for the game, Angry Birds. My search revealed their site offered the game for free. I went to their site, they advertised that and 1600 FREE games but I had to sign up - also FREE. I did that and got to a credit card page. When reviewing why I had to provide a cc, it stated it was only so that if I purchased anything, they would automatically charge my card. I entered my cc. I got to a site offering me to sign up as a Premium Member for about $16.00 per month. At the very bottom of the page in tiny tiny letter, it offers one to "continue on as a FREE member". I hit that. I got to their website which offered thousands of games. Unfortunately, NONE were free. I tried several to get their free version. None existed. I did a search on their games to obtain the FREE ones. It stated "none". I wrote an email to support asking how to get the free ones. Then, I went to send a letter of cancellation and was told that if I did that online, I would be charged $.99. So I called instead. I got the rudest operator I have ever experienced in my life. She had the audacity to tell me that the number I was calling was WRONG. I told her it is the number on their own website (how would I get it otherwise, or even HER for that matter). She continued to argue with me that the number was wrong. I told her she had better make sure my cc was NOT charged; that none of their games were free and that I was reporting their abuse. But I no sooner got out the word "reporting" when she hung up on me. I am now calling my cc company to be sure there is no charge. |

Hi and thanks!
You just saved me from having a very bad day.
I knew it was a "too good to be true" offer. Had they charged a small fee from the start, it would have even made it sound more real.
It's unfortunate what You had to go through. I hope Things worked out in the end with Your bank regarding Your cc.
Again, thanks a lot. |
