They promise you everything and deliver nothing, but they keep taking your money. New phone, new contract and nothing but problems and lies from Bell Mobility month after month. The new Samsung Galaxy S phone has been taken in and replaced or repaired almost every month since I got it. Bell reps went on and on about what a great phone it was. It has never worked right and never worked for long. They told me it was a very fast 4g phone but didn't tell me they don't have a 4g network to support it. So they have a 3g network that doesn't work well with 4 g phones. Cheats and liars right from the get go. They have no plans for 4g in my area. Downloading is painfully slow. The phone usually freezes on downloading apps and has to have the battery removed to restart every time. The phone restarts at random. This phone has been replaced or repaired 6 times now. Every one of them did the random restart right away. It becomes more frequent until the phone stops. They repair with used parts. The phone came back with a broken speaker, callers sounds like they are speaking through a buzz box. GPS navigation is useless, so slow you are already passed the turn when it tells you to turn in 100 meters. It tries to send you on roads that don't exist or on trails. Useless. Calls are dropped at about 25% of calls. How embarrassing. Text messages fail to send about 50% need to be resent. Text message delays up to a day at times. Honestly I have recieved text messages 24 hours after they were sent but often an hour or more delay. USELESS. Data often doesn't connect. Try to use the browser or search function and receive the message" the page cannot be displayed" or similar message about 50% of the time, I can make calls but no data, most of their towers don't support data. When you talk to the Bell reps at the Bell store or on the phone they basically tell you lies. I was told repeatedly that the data and text problems were because they were upgrading the tower near me. What a crock. Now they admit the phone is a lemmon and I can buy another phone if I choose. The phone is still under warranty and they are telling me to buy myself another phone. They won't make good on this phone and replace it with something that works. I am paying quite a bit extra for an unlimited data plan that I can't use because the phone keeps screwing up and the connection is so slow its easier to go home and use my computer. What a crock. This is the worst phone and the worst crooked company I have ever experienced. DON'T GET A PLAN WITH BELL MOBILITY. They are thieves and liars and cheats. When I demanded they do something about this phone the rep put me on hold and then killed the call. A phone company???? No a scam company. They do business like they are gangsters, you pay and pay and pay and they run th eshow.

I agree 100%. I had a LG phone and had consistent text messaging issues. Either they were delayed or I didn't receive them or the person didn't receive them from me. Bell's tech supposedly troubleshooted (mostly telling me it had to be the other person's service provider at fault) and then told me it was my phone.
I spent the $50 it cost to have my phone replaced through insurance and what do you know?? Same freaking problems. There is nothing they will do. They will call up and say "since you haven't had any issues in the last 2 days there is nothing we can do". This morning they called and said it was fixed..funny...I had the same issues last night.
I talked to customer service today, as well as retention. Nothing! They will not do anything outside of suggesting I - wait for it - buy a new phone.
Of course! How stupid of me. Buying yet ANOTHER new phone, not to mention signing ANOTHER 3 year contract, would solve all my problems.
Thanks Bell. Genius.
End of contract is December. Can't come soon enough. |

OK. Bell is not the easiest company to work with. But, I have been a bell customer for over 40 years, I have 2 cell phones, which I purchased from other suppliers but they use the bell network & once the phones have been set up, work as advertised. So, what am I doing right??? |
