Be Live Hamaca
Be Live Hamaca Casino in Boca Chic Dominican Republic Powerball Roulette Scam Boca Chica Dominican Republic
4th of Feb, 2011 by
I just returned from a vacation to the Dominican Republic with my family. We booked through i-travel and the carrier was SunWing Vacations. We flew direct from Kitchener Waterloo.

My 19 year old son and I stopped in to check out the casino and were greeted at the door with a young lady offering $20.00 in chips to play a game called powerball roulette. The game works on a progressive point total based on a score that is received by rolling 8 balls into a random number board. The short version of the story is that we racked up a lot of points early and with a jackpot of 40 times the bet we decided to continue with our own money. The closer we got to the 50 point jackpot the more double ups we hit. Double ups both double the cost of the bet and double the jackpot. We got to 49 points and a jackpot of 800,000.00 and ran out of credit on my credit cards. I am a little embarrassed to tell this story as the game cost meover $40,000.00 but what shocked me even more was the similar stories I heard (not as much money) over the remaining days of my visit. Not only did everyone else rack up a lot of points early but the statements used such as this never happens, you have a very good chance of winning this game and the only way you can lose now is to walk away were used similarly with everyone I talked to.

I am convinced now that the so called dealer that counts the 8 balls really fast is counting to whichever number he wants to until you are watching his every move closely. Based on the way the game works the person playing is focused on the table that shows them what their particular score gets them. I asked to review the video of my game so as to verify the counts and they said that they only video the money transactions. (Highly doubtfull) A quick search on google shows warnings from people who traveled as far back as January 03. I am convinced that thousands and if not 10's of thousands of people have been scammed the same way over at least the last10 years.

Slightly different variations of the game seem to goonin differentcasinos around the Dominican. Some use 10 balls to achieve 100 points others 8 balls to achieve 50 points. All of the games cheat you the same way. A sweet talkingAmericanborn dealer ganes your trust while explaining the game and playing with free money. In every case, the dealers"spots" the victum multiple points very early in order to give them the perception that they are extremely close to victory.Once the victum exhausts their cash they goto their credit card since victory is almost certain! With a few questions the dealer establishes your credit limit and proceeds to suck every penny from your credit card by multiple "double up" rolls of the balls untill you haveno credit to proceed and have to walk away.

Wow i am very shocked to see these posts on the internet, I was browsing through the internet looking for tips an roling stratgies for this game an now i see all of these neg posts, I played this same game an was into it for about 25k an same thing happend i ran out of money, luckly my wife had her card on her an we where able to roll 4 more time an ended up with 55 points an winning a jackpot of over 100, 000 USD, we had the money transferd to out bank with out any problems, i think this game feeds off of middle class people an by doubling them out the casino wins, most of the times. i my self are a middle class however have extreemly good credit, my tottal investment was close to 35k still coming out over 70k ahead, best vacation of my life, call it whatever you guys want im living proof you can win, you just need enought money to play, now i have read a lot of people quit or lost by closly overspending what is in the jackpot, an they to called this game a scam, this is a house game period, no scams, theres no need for a casino to scam you every table is in the houses favor from the get go, be more responcible an gamble with your head, dont make excuses

It is slightly manipulated at the beginning to make you believe you can win, that is the scam part. If they play fair in the beginning and give correct totals, you would lose as often as you do in the end. you would allow yourself to get so far in the game. The game can be won but you have to have enought money to see it done. They will judge you based on your available credit is my imagination. There is no way they would let a guy with a million bucks play the game out. he could start with a $100 bet and ride it out to the finish easily and make it pay big. I didn't catch on in time to figure out that they didn't count accurately in the beginning and what that means toward the end but I did catch on. I started counting them with the american dealer and he changed his number twice. Unfortunately, when we counted 42 and he said 41 and the person grabbing the balls grabbed them quicker than we could recount. That 42 = 3 points and we were at 47. this should have been our winner. 41 = 2 which gave us the 49 we would eneviatably end at because we didnt have enough money to continue. They have camera's but they only focus on the betting part was my understanding. Has anyone successfully fought this? If so email me at [email protected] because I am certain I am not the only one.
