batterysharks.com TB Supply, LLC Credit card billing in advance of delayed shipment Rhinebeck, New York |

Ordered UPS battery 8-24-11 from this company. Credit card immediately charged for full amount. Availability of item stated "usually ships in 24 hours". "Usually" being key word. Received "shipment notice" the same day. One week later, no battery, no word from company. No UPS tracking information on shipment, all UPS said was "a shipping label has been created". Emailed company at [email protected]. Received reply that battery was out of stock, and incoming shipment was expected same day, 8-31-11. Received 2nd notice of shipment, with 2nd UPS tracking number that day. UPS showed no tracking info on it either, only that a shipping label had been created. Email company again, noting that neither tracking number showed any activity, and was advised that the 2nd number was the good one, and that shipment was in progress. Order finally shipped 9-2-11, and was received 9-6-11. Good battery and does the job needed. Complaint is that shipment was notified, but never made, credit card was charged with item not shipped, or even in stock, and that company personnel lied twice about shipping dates. When complaints were made about credit card billing way in advance of actual shipment, was told by company "this is our policy". This policy is dishonest and creates ill will among customers. It needs to be changed. Many complaints of same practices are seen on the Internet about batterysharks.com. I have come to believe they are a trans-shipper, and do not actually have batteries in stock. I reported this company and it's underhanded policies to the BBB of NY. |

I ordered 2 batteries and got them. Part number on my original battery matches my part number on my invoice- but the two batteries was way to wide to fit in the model of UPS I have. There was no part number on the batteries. I called and Lilly answered and told me it should fit, I told her it is at least an inch to wide.
We went around and around with - they should fit- but they don't. She was rude, short tempered, said there was no possible way they shipped the wrong item. Totally my fault. Worst service ever. EVER.
She kept saying it is a 12 volt, 12 amps- should fit. Stupid!! Those are not dimensions.
They want me to pay shipping back to them and a 15% restocking fee. Total rip off. I will never order form them again. I am going to just dispute the charges. You can't fit a 4 inch wide battery in a 3 inch wide spot. They cannot seem to understand that.
They rely on customers just eating the costs and saying it is not worth it.
Batterysharks.com is just dishonest. |
