Based on television infomercial, ordered (1) Total Pillow @$19.95 plus shipping. The next day I received a phone call from someone who did not speak very good English. She stated she was confirming my order. She asked if I wanted the "special" which included an additional set of pillows. I was very clear in saying No. She added that it would also include a larger pillow for shipping only. I said again, No, I only want what the television ad showed, 'Buy One, Get One Free.' She then tried to sell me a $1,000 worth of gasoline at a reduced rate and something else. I clearly said , 'No thank you, I'm not interested.' By now I was highly suspicious and said I don't want all that stuff, cancel it all! The same day I received an email advising my order was 'shipped!' But, the description of exactly "What" was shipped was not clear. My credit card account was charged $93.67! I immediately contacted my c. card company and initiated a dispute! I called Total Pillow and was told they couldn't do anything until the merchandise was 'back in their warehouse.' I was told to refuse the order when it arrives. (How Stupid is that when their ad clearly states it takes 4 to 6 weeks for shipping, but mine arrived faster than I could cancel!) When I asked exactly how did they justify charging $93.67, I was told "apparently you ordered 8 pillows." LMAO! I explained, I'm a single person, what would I possibly do with 8 pillows? A credit finally showed up on my card account, however short in the amount of $43.70! When I called to ask where is the rest of my money and to confirm they received the order back, I was told, yes, they got the merchandise but can't give further credit because I filed a dispute with my bank. DAH! I have filed a formal complaint with my State Attorney General office because this company has clearly taken advantage of the public and does not provide the service or merchandise they advertise on television or online. They keep a portion of your money hoping "you" will go away without making waves... Shame On You Total Pillow! I have told everyone I know what a scam company you are! |

I had similar experience with this company. it totally feels like being scammed.
during the check out process, they would obtain your credit card number first, then asking you if you want to add more items or services to your order. plus, there is NO "order summary" page for you to see their total charges and then confirm your order. you may suddenly end up with huge charge with stuff you don't want.
here is my bill: a total pillow is $19.99, and the p&H is $15.90. they must offer something for 2nd set for "reduced" price $14.99, but you will pay another p&H for $13.90. rush service another $6.95. |
