BANK OF AMERICA Pocketing My Mortagage Payments and Ruining My Credit Lebanon, Tennessee

In December of 2010, I went to the local BOA office and paid my Mortgage in Cash, $1645.66. I took my receipt and exited. Three weeks later, I sat with my wife in an eatery, cleaned out my wallet and disposed of the reciept....My BAD! I began getting OBAMA refianance packages in the mail, refinance, ruin your credit! I went to pay my January 2011 payment and was told I owed TWO payments, that I never, paid December!? I went to the Manager after speaking with the teller. He was reluctant to assist me. I explained who, when and where the payment was made. I remembered as I came in at 4PM one day as the Manager was locking the door and he allowed me to come in and make my payment. When I reminded him of this, he shrugged it off and said , he would look into it". I worked on this problem for weeks. The manager ignored me after our first meeting. He said he could find nothing. I asked to pull video, and they laughed it off. I contacted the BOA corporated office. I was told I would be contacted in a week to speak with an investigator. I was told they took this very seriously. JOKE! They do not care! I had to phone back in three weeks, and was told by the corporate office that, They had already reviewed the tapes and saw NO transaction by me with a large sum of money. LIES. I do large transaction each week for my hobby. I then wrote the Office of the CEO for BOA. I got a letter saying they did all they would do and would give anymore time to the problem and would not allow me to review tapes. Well I thought to sue as not only a loss of money but my credit shows a late payment after 15 years of being an ontime payer. I am a disabled Vet and this is almost a months income for me, but many are in the same situation. SO, sue or Not sue, that is the question. Beware, never pay anything in cash, unless you are great with reciepts! Bank of America is a nightmare! They had my Brother in law do 3 appraisels for a refinance. He was told they were closingthe third week of last month. SO he held his next month payment. BOA then put off the closing another month for another appraisel, asked why he did not make the payment, he told them we were closing and did not want to waste the payment. they then denied the refinance because he missed a payment, like me 1 in 10 years. You would think, the CEO would be concerned that this kind of money can come up missing with no history of any transaction and then refuse to look into the problem. I was told they has an employee who is not a teller working full-time at the window and that She was not supposed to be doing that? The manager shortly after was replaced? So BOA swept me under the carpet while pocketing my money and ruining my credit! Makes one want to walk out and let them have the Property, let them worry about it. The FEDS will just bail them out again. Recommend banking elsewhere, BOA has gotten worse over the years. Customer service and relations are Horrible!
