Bank of America Home Loans Servicing, LP BAC rejecting mortgage payments/modification/and losing our PRIVATE documents Plano, Texas |

We are currently customers of BAC Home Loans Servicing, LP formely Countrywide Mortgage and before that American Mortgage. Our home is currently in foreclosure with no sale date and has been. Our first attempt to fix the situation was a loan modification through an agency that we found out later was a scam-artist and in which case we ended up still being in foreclosure and never hearing from this 'agency' again. Our next attempt was with our Mortgage Lender, BAC Home Loans Servicing LP, which wound up being three attempts and currently being in our third attempt for a 'modification'. Each time we have sent in private information including, paystubs, bank statements, hardship letters, tax returns, everything they requested and each time we are being told (1) You are in the wrong department let me transfer you(or, they disconnect us), (2)We are missing documents(which were already sent and via their request on more than one occassion, with our loan number on each and every document and current date) or the most recent (3) You faxed them to the WRONG department. Well funny thing is, every phone number they give is not the department they told you it was. What I would like to know is where is all our private information and how could they lose something so personal and if they don't have it then where is it?! And I am being told this is the normal process for them to request repeated documents and we will probably have to resend again and again until the negotiater has what he needs and we are not allowed to have the negotiaters phone number he will contact us, I have yet to hear from the negotiater. We are tired of getting the run around with these people and the call transfers and hang ups and repeatedly telling these people the same information day to day. Faxes are NOT cheap! Not to mention, the reason that they were unable to reach us by phone for several years , get this, they had a number that hadn't been in service prior to six years of purchasing our home that we hadn't even given them! They have been rude, not willing to work this foreclosure out with us, lost our paperwork and private information and just continue to keep us holding on by our wits end, knowing they are dangling our mortgage papers over our heads. I would like to hear from you if you are having the same issue. We are talking a class action lawsuit. Thanks for listening as it seems BAC has no concerns! |
