Bad Boy Furniture Broken Couch and won't fix it - worst company EVER!!!! Toronto, Ontario |
12th of Jun, 2011 by User469930 |
Almost one month ago, we purchased a sectional couch. They told us because it's made in Canada, and only made once a month, that it will take a little while for the order to get done, but they'd try to rush it for us. Two weeks later we get the sectional. When we unwrapped the separate pieces, one of the pieces was broken. The legs do not have any t-nuts (things to screw the legs into) on one of the sectional pieces. We are now two weeks later with a broken couch sitting in our living room. The store that we bought it from refuses to help, saying we need to speak directly with the warehouse. When we call the warehouse and ask to speak with Sara (the WORST customer service person I have EVER spoken with in my entire life) and the rude reps transfer you over, only to get voicemail and not get a call back for days. Sara is very sarcastic and condescending, and its very frustrating to say the least. We have been told that a refund is "Not an option" because the receipt states "All sales Final", even though the sales rep Esther promised that that wouldn't be the case. Apparently the "boss" Sara told one of the store managers Brian "not to get involved". The other store manager Peggy acts as though she cares but its just another approach she pretends like she cares but doesnt really, as nothings been done. The repair technician actually came once and claimed not to have the pieces so took one of the legs with him to make sure he got the right pieces. Next the story is theyre custom made pieces so they cant be found at a local hardware store. Then they claim that these custom parts are being couriered to them and theyll be out asap but today when we call the store and speak with the manager Elmo says that the technician actually purchased the pieces. Then the story is that the tech came but we werent home twice. I have left work early twice and stayed home from work all day on one occasion. Like we want to wait any longer for our broken couch to get fixed. So were onto week 2 with a broken couch and not one step closer to it getting fixed were actually one step behind because now were out a couch leg and the tech guy refuses to pick up our calls. How can Bad Boy Furniture send us a broken product and not at least fix it? This is beyond frustrating and I dont know what else to do. DO NOT spend your money at BAD BOY because their products are crap and they will not help and customer service is the worst I've ever encountered!!!! |

First time I have seen your blog and what a great post that was!Remember the saying “Genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration”So once you have a great idea you have to work hard to turn it into a viable product that doesn’t just exist in your head.
