Back in March 2009 I was "FORCED" by my parents to get rid of my Doberman Service Dog Takkera, Bob and Linda Stallard responded to my craigslist add. I was SOOOOO UPSET and beside myself that I had to give up my Service Dog that I forgot to give them the contract I wrote out, in it it stated "If for any reason I am able to have Takkera back that we agree to give Takkera back to Becky K. to assist her with her disabilities. Another was "We agree to remain in contact with Becky K. keeping her updated on Takkera and send pictures," Well They're REFUSING to give Takkera back to me and have stopped all contact with me. Takkera assisted me with balance, picked up items off the floor for me, helped me up off the floor when needed, assisted me during seizures, assisted me with panic attacks and with my SEVERE PTSD, I am totally lost without her and I would like her back. I am working on getting my own apartment again so I can have her, my friend Sherri that trained her also E-Mailed the Stallards regarding me getting her back and they never answered her either. Sherri knows how attached I am to Takkera and how upset and depressed I am without her, There are many things Takkera will be learning to assist me further with my disabilities. NON disabled people have a VERY hard time understanding how important she is to me, those of you who aren't don't understand how bad I want her back. If you've ever lost a pet in any way you know how upsetting it is, you're overwhelmed with emotions and can't think strait. Takkera helped me lead a more independent and productive life, it was my hopes when I had her was to work again. It's my plan if I am able to get her back, Takkera was also trained to assist with a heavy shopping cart by pulling it while I pushed it so it made it much easier for me. The Stallards have NO HEART WHAT SO EVER, if they did they'd see the great need I have for Takkera and would understand I need her back to help me with my disabilities |
