Placed ad on craigslist for onsite web design tutor. Chau Nguyen responed to ad, we met at my house around 11 am on 13 October 2011. Lesson went ok, Chau suggested that he redesign my page as web 2.0? Wordpress?, SEO optimized, with focus on monitizing my videos, improving the results of my studio rental page, and making it easy to broadcast events. Discussed amount ($800), $400 down so he could start work, and payment 2 ($200) in 30 days (payment 2 made early), last payment in 60 days of $200. He informed me that he had another project to finish up 2 weeks or so, then another week or 2 to let me see the first draft of my new pages so I could give input. We discussed him stopping by the house a couple of times to touch base if he was near virginia beach and had the time. This would facilitate communication, and i could log into my desktop and show metrics on my current web page etc. 20 October 2011, receive email from mr. Nguyen that it's still in the works (my web site redesign), and he'll talk to me soon. 21 October I emailed mr. Nguyen, Photos, and analytics log report account information. 23 November email mr. Nguyen asking for status of the work. 25, 26th, am told 2 December i will see the first draft, we are to meet online at 10 am. He again offered to set up my page on a web host of my choice when it is finished. 2 December 2011 11 am contacted mr. Nguyen get a text he's busy with a meeting. 2 December 2011 1:04 pm. Had enough delays, think i will have a struggle to get my page done, and concerned about the quality. I was informed that there would be communication between us and that my input would be taken. Communication has been almost non-existant. Sending this to Better Business Bureau 5 December 2011 8:10 am Facebook chat, was told to bear with him, he won't let me see anything but the finished product. Reminded him that i was to have a rough draft to give feedback 5 or 6 weeks ago. Told he doesn't work that way and has been swamped with work. Not the team effort and communication promised. This guy is not a good listener and has no idea what customer service means.
