Axial NA Tyler McGuire -- becomes unreachable after their invoices are due -- Fort Worth, Texas |
18th of Nov, 2011 by User527741 |
We started working with Tyler McGuire and Axial NA approx. 3 months ago, serving as subcontractors to his company business. He receives work from nationwide default management companies who request maintenance services on their foreclosed properties -- CoreLogic, Bank of America, etc. We were asked to cover the Dallas and East TX area providing a host of services from rekey to winterizations during that time. When I first spoke with Tyler he said he paid weekly, which I already knew in this industry is exceptional -- so I did not expect that sort of turnaround time. But, we explicitly discussed a biweekly schedule of payments for services rendered. In the amount of time we served Axial NA, we invoiced for nearly 20,000.00 in maintenance services. Every single payment had to be provoked from Mr McGuire -- meaning we had to call him several times and explain we would stop all services until payment was received. This process became cumbersome very quickly. What made this process even worse was never did we receive a statement of his checks, though the cumulative amount was for a multitude of work orders. It's a good thing we were well-organized. In fact, most of the time, I honestly felt we were running both of company and Tyler's as he would never respond to emails for more information to help us complete a work order for him, and worst of all he was a train wreck when it came to payments. Recently he has become excessively late on payments of over 6,000.00 to our company. We made several attempts to respectfully speak with him about this delinquency. In fact, we even tried to visit his office and personally deliver the invoices to him at which time he denied responsibility for them. He lied and claimed that he had already paid. I have tried calling him, emailing him, visiting with him personally. Nothing has been effective as of yet to help him accept ownership of his responsibilities as a business owners who employs subcontractors to perform services for him. My only hope is that other contractors will see this report and be directed away from his company. He has no real experience in the industry as this is apparently something to provide him with extra money. His project management is deplorable and his follow-through with subcontractors is unacceptable. Please steer clear of him. |
