On 4/11/11 I ordered a brand new MAF sensor on Autozone.com. The part I received 7 days later was an obvious re-manufactured MAF sensor. It had signs of bead blasting and the plastic piece on top was a little beat up from what appeared to be previous use. I believe Autozone though I was to stupid and wouldn't notice. Once I noticed the part had been re-manufactured, I contacted autozone customer service. I was then emailed from Fedex to print out a label to sent the part back next day air, which they received. I was re-assured I would receive my new-correct part in a couple days. well it now a week later and still no part. I've spoken with autozone customer service many times and have received nothing but a run around. The last person I spoke with said I would receive it on a certain day, but could not provide a tracking #. Obvious BS. I finally told them to cancel my order and refund my money, apparently that will take an additional 3-5 business days to get my money. I've read many consumer complaints about autozone, and now I'm one of those people. I will never do business with autozone again either on line or at one of their stores... |

I purchased an idler pulley from autozone on 6/30/11, when we went to install the part it was the wrong one. on 7/3/11, I purchased a starter for the vehicle; I was given a starter for a stick shift car. When my son took the starter back one of the associates argued with him that it was the right part, only after my son told the associate to get a tape measure and he would prove to him that it was the wrong part did someone step in and get him the right part. The nightmare continues, I also needed an airconditioner compressor; this time the manager took my order and said he would make sure we got the right part...ordered on 7/9/11, received the part on 7/12/11 and guess what...wrong part. Just got off the phone with the asst. mgr and he says he can have the right part for me by monday 7/18/11; if I dont want to wait for the part till 7/18/11, he told me I could get a refund and go somewhere else. Some customer SERVICE. I will no longer be doing business with autozone. They need to train their associates better. |
