autopartswarehouse.com Refuse to accept core returns Carson, California |
1st of Jun, 2011 by User836810 |
Autopartswarehouse requires a RMA number to return a core. The trouble is they don't give out RMA numbers nor do they refund your credit card with a core deposit even if you send your core to the address they shipped from. If you file a complaint they say you haven't complied with their return policy. I finally got to a "supervisor" at autopartswarehouse and they sent 2 pages of requirments for core returns...the trouble was there was no rma number in this 2 pages. I yet again called back and got into an argument that there was not a number on this form, "yes there is a number"...this goes back and forth untill you hang up. They are totally unresponsive and well practiced in pacifying you on the phone. You still don't get a rma number...they are taking advantage of all of the mistakes and other problems that legit companies face doing buisness on the internet. All they have to say is the "customer hasen't complied with our requirments...and that is at the root of their problem...we are here to help." This is a scam and is their buisness practice however...no refunds for cores...they will give up...they will go away...the state of CA isn't interested in going after small potatos... I tried to get them, many times to tell me this rma number on the phone...they refuse! I made my order on the phone, I tried to give them my e-mail address they wouldn't accept it on the phone, surprizing I thought...NOW I know why as part of their requirments for core returns they indicate YOU MUST supply the e-mail conformation with your return. How do you supply them with something they never did? They never sent a conformation e-mail...they refused on the phone at the time of the order to take my e-mail address so on multiple levels...they study the laws and attempt to create confusion and blame the customer..it works unless you complain and complain and complain this is the buisness plan that this companie follows...a pure criminal scam...and then you find out if you call the PD in Carson "they consider this a civil matter." |

This is horrible. I hate it when you order something and you cannot return it if it does not work. I also hate it when companies use little loop holes to get out of everything. I am looking for parts for a head gasket repair that I am doing and will be very careful at wherever I do order. Thanks for sharing this. |
