| A Representative from the Auto Processing Center, Santa Ana, CA 92705 called me on 03/27/2013 to offer an extended warranty on my 2005 Mustang .I should have known being it was 9 years old this didn�t sound right.. He was telling me how it was a great coverage to have and wouldn’t let me off the phone , he keep saying I need to make a decisions right now that the price would go away today. He also told me I have a 30 day money back guarantee and said all I had to do to cancel was call their office at 1-800-356-8170 and I would receive a full refund and not be charged further. This was on March 27.2013 Well only 8 days later and 300.00 later with was a down payment. What a joke I got hung up on then twice then when I got a person named matt I was told I needed to call Ominisure group lLC to cancel the contract . I called them they tell me no you have too call the vendor so I did and got hung up on once again . Then I got Matt again then he tells me to call the American auto shield so I get this guy who wouldn’t give me his name by this time I’m pissed. He tells me I have to Send a certified letter with I did on Friday and they received it he’s telling me they didn’t .he also said it takes 8 weeks to get a refund Really ?? It took 15 mins to get my money this guy at American Auto Shield was yelling at me saying things like ,well that’s the way it , Did I read my Booklet , You will wait to get your money like the book said’s. He was yelling so loud at me I called him a jerk and hung up . they treat people like this they are total rip offs just like the other people said before my experience . I just didn’t read up on them first I’ve also reported them to do not disturb for calling me for months . I Purchased it to look it over cause I was under impression I could call before they even took my money and cancel it. What a lie American Auto Shield, LLC, 5695 Yukon St, Arvada, CO 80002 is listed in the service contract as the administrator of the contract, Omnisure Group, LLC is listed in the vehicle service contract as the administrator of the "payment plan agreement." There are a number of rip off reports on this company. Don’t buy no warranty from this place they fit well under Rip off cause that’s what they are. They no how to take your money that’s how they get rich by stealing form people like me with No intent on giving your money back. Thank god my credit card is going to Dispute the charge. |

| I know of someone who replied to one of those "Extended Car Warranty" mailers and she, apparently without thinking about it, gave the guy her credit card account number. When the guy told her the details and the costs, she declined the "offer." However, he basically told her "tough luck" and that she already was processed. She said NO to the "offer." I advised her to call her credit card company immediately. (She felt very foolish, but, I told her that, unfortunately, they seem to do this to a lot of people who are caught off guard and NOT to ever response to these type of mailers/emails/etc. again). I don't see why she would need to mail the "Extended Car Warranty" mailers a certified letter as she DID NOT AUTHORIZE the sale of a "car warranty" (not worth a red cent) to her. They basically attempted to STEAL her money (not to mention the TIME they stole from her). They would probably love nothing more than to have her signature on file ... not going to happen. The credit card company stated that they have trouble with these type of scams frequently. |
