FRAUD WARNING |

Ross Kaba... aka Rasim Kaba of R.K. Designs (bankrupt), RK Conveyors (shell), AUP Inc (new scam company)... AUP Conveyor (shell).... are back at it. They have been on this scam exposure website in the past.
Ross Kaba was involved in a scam which spanned the globe, involving selling conveyor equipment which was never ordered, or delivered. In many of the circumstances, he would sell the dream of a great conveyor system to the customer, and ask for a deposit to start the manufacturing process. After a bit of time, he would then tell the customer they had to pay another installment of their deposit before the equipment could be shipped (a lot of the time Ross insisted they pay in full)... The customer was already handcuffed because they sent a sizeable deposit, so they usually capitulated and sent more money. These conveyors were never ordered from the manufacturer from the beginning, this was a total scam from it's conception.
Now Ross Kaba (Rasim Kaba), has opened a NEW company and is back at his scam. Trying to hide with anonymity, this new company is working closely with Karl Shultz of PACLINE Corporation in scamming the public together.
BE ALERT to buying any equipment from AUP Inc, AUP Conveyor, RK Designs, RK Conveyor or Pacline Corporation.... they tell you anything to get your deposits, then you are left holding the proverbial "bag".

I too purchased equipment from Pacline Corporation in the past few months, and their equipment has failed miserably. Their conveyor chain has fallen completely apart in 10 months of light duty operation, and after doing some research and contacting the original equipment manufacturers (Bridgeveyor Overhead Systems), we have discovered that Pacline has unsuccessfully tried to copy the equipment and are trying to sell it to industry as their own.
Bridgeveyor were kind enough to sell us their original C-250 conveyor chain at a discounted rate to help us get over this financial and production loss we incurred with Pacline and their substandard knock-off equipment. We are now looking at replacing all the Pacline track, curves and Drive Units with Bridgeveyor original equipment, as the Pacline reproduction parts are already showing signs of wear, and it's only been 10 months of operation. Pacline refuses to accept responsibility and honor their "warranty". Beware of knock-off equipment people, do your research before making major purchases.
We have Bridgeveyor equipment in our plants which has been running for about 20 years problem free, and now after purchasing equipment from Pacline (conveyor dealer), we have discovered that their conveyors are no longer being manufactured by the original equipment manufacturers (Bridgeveyor Overhead Systems)... Pacline has gone off on their own and tried to copy the equipment. Failing parts are the LAST thing industrial companies need on their shop floors, especially when it comes to such a critical piece of equipment in our production. |

We also have made the extreme error in purchasing a Pacline Conveyor. The conveyor parts have been deteriorating since the day we bought it just a little over 1 year ago. The Drive Unit has worn out, and the conveyor chain had some bearings which have stopped rolling and were being dragged through the system (which has worn out all the straight and curved sections of track). Since the conveyor is fairly new, we expected a little compassion from Pacline on their warranty, but basically they have told us we have to purchase all new parts for their failing components.
Further to reading these posts, we contacted Bridgeveyor Overhead Systems located in Markham, Ontario, Canada. They too have informed us that Pacline Corporation used to be a dealer of theirs since 1979, but have started to manufacture (copy) the patented Bridgeveyor conveyor design, and are no longer allowed to buy or sell Bridgeveyor equipment. Not only are they prohibited from selling Bridgeveyor conveyors, they had to remove Bridgeveyor's name from their website and literature.
It seems that Bridgeveyor has been manufacturing conveyors since 1969, and Pacline has just started to make their own copy of the Bridgeveyor conveyor (for a couple of years)... and unsuccessfully I might add... and their parts are failing. We had some of the Pacline conveyor parts tested, and the steel used is very inconsistent from piece to piece (which is indicative of parts being brought in from offshore (mainly China)). We will no longer be buying any conveyors or replacement parts from Pacline Corporation.
We have since started a great working relationship with Bridgeveyor Overhead Systems and they have also helped us get our conveyor back up and running before Christmas. We would like to extend our thanks to them and if anybody else is reading this, you might also want to contact them directly. Their telephone number is (905) 475-9240. Remember, they have been making this equipment for close to 50 years... they obviously know what they are doing. |
