AT&T DSL
AT&T DSL forced contract, automatic check writing on my account, must accept overdraft costs internet, Nationwide
15th of Aug, 2011 by User772662
When I canceled my home phone from ATT, I was forced to take a contract for 12 months to keep my DSL or absorb a 25% increase in cost even though I've been with ATT for multiple years for both phone and DSL. To top it off, they now have a notice on the back of the bill that says they are authorized to write a check against my bank account on the day that any future bill is due and I am responsible for any costs relating to non sufficient funds. They don't offer me anyway to pay my bill unless I agree to this term which is wrong in my view. I would love for a lawyer to take these bastards on and stop them from using their phone service utility to steer customers and fix prices on other services they provide including cell phones.
