AT&T What a scam! Rules to Family Plans and Contracts are costly and limiting and totally unfair. Internet

AT&T is simply ridiculous. If you have a family plan and one phone is damaged, instead of allowing you to buy another replacement phone at the discount price they would make add a new contract for 2 years for and pay $49 for a new phone. Otherwise, if you want to keep that phone on your family plan you would have to $599 for that same phone???? Why can't they just give you the discounted phone and extend your existing plan? Wow...that just makes too much sense. They would rather just treat consumers like imbiciles and see how many will actually pay $600 for the $50 phone (Blackberry Torch) and see how many of actually believe that it is a $600 "value". These cellular phone companies are just plain stupid! I switch between Verizon and AT&T every 2 years because it's cheaper to switch to a new company with a new contract than get the eligible disount. When you switch companies you get a phone for free or $50 but if you stay with the existing company you get the same for a discount of $200???? It simply makes no sense!
