AT&T AT&T pads cutomer bills with unwanted or unsolicited apps. Grants Pass, Oregon
14th of Mar, 2011 by User136354
AT&T automatically signed us up for 5 applicatiuons that we did not ask for and charged us $10 per month for each of them. When we texted them to 'remove our number'. they later said that this was not the proper phrase and continued charging us for 6 months. The proper phrase was 'stop'. We never signed up for or solicited such silliness as astology or anything else. When confronted with their theft of our money and their deceptive marketing practices, they said that sicne we were on autopay, they would only refund half of the money, as it had gone on for more than 3 months. It is simply outrageous that AT&T, or any other company can sign you up for and make you pay for things that you do not want or have not requested. Shame, shame.
