I was contacted by AT&T Advertising Solutions about buying an ad in the local online yellowpages. The only thing was it was a setup/decptive from the begining. The Rep knew my business was a mobile business but insisted on seting me up with the listing with my home number. I told him it would do our business any good if my customers were calling my home for service and I was not recieving the calls a the correct phone. Serving the Titusville area. I thought that he understood what needed to be done until I recieved a call for our ice cream truck for delivery in a city that is an hour away. I called him about it and he made a lot of excuses about my service and the fact of why wouldnt I drive an hour to deliver. Needless to say they continue to tell me that they were going to correct the mistake. They corrected the service area but not the phone number saying I could just transfer my callss to my cell phone when I went out. What an inconveinance especially when I had customers call me at 10:00pm for ice cream when I was asleep. Needless to say they recieved their money every month for a year. Claim they were investigating my claim all the while collectting 72.00 a month. Said I could not cancel my contract until March 2011. I wrote a letter to cancel October 2010 considering deceptive practices, false claims and breach of contract. I even had one of the reps call me and tell me "Didnt I know it was a risk when I signed up" If I would have known that I could have save my companies money. I definitely didnt make a dime from that advertising, but they got thier money every month for a year. Now they want to put the balance of the amount into collections. I want all my money back, every penny. I have all the corespondence from them and date of calls from the collection agency. Can you help? Wrong! Wrong! AT&T
