I actually started a high school diploma course with their known name at the time PCDI back in 2000.When I received my first course,I noticed that it was a cheap photocopy paperback book with black and white pictures throughout. It was also through the mail in which it would take up to six weeks for you to get any kind of response back for the exams that you sent in.
Despite these annoyances,I continued and managed to finish a few courses until I lost my job.I couldn't afford to pay for several months and just gave up.I managed to get my life together and decided to give it another try so I contacted them to make a payment for the rest of the tuition with a guarantee that I could still continue my studies with them.
After paying the whole balance left on the tuition.I was excited and sent in a couple of exams for them to grade.I waited for over six weeks and called them. They said that they have no record of any exams that I sent to them recently. So I ask them if I could somehow resend the exams on a separate sheet of paper.
They agreed and I sent in the very same answers for the two exams that were apparently lost.I waited for over a month and called again. The representative put me on hold for about ten minutes and told me that they still have not received them.At this point,I was getting very upset at their incompetence.
I ask them if it even mattered if I even sent in anymore lessons and she told me that it was up to me.No apology,no remorse in her tone of voice or anything. So I told her that they were very unprofessional and that I wanted a refund. Then she puts me on hold for the supervisor which would be another twenty minutes on hold.So I just hung up and warned everyone I knew about PCDI.
Even if they could issue me a refund,I probably wouldn't see it for months. So I decided to take it as my loss for a making an expensive mistake which cost me over $400.Since they got my money, they decided that they were no longer obligated to help me succeed. The degenerate customer service team who sounded like they were high did not help much either.
What a shameful way to run a business!I still have to file a consumer complaint with the BBB and other scam sites to help spread the word of the very pathetic and fraudulent practices of Ashworth College aka James Madison High School,PCDI.I urge others to do the same.
