Ashley Furniture in Grapevine, Texas Customer Service and Deliver are Suck. On March 03, 2011 I placed my order in for Ashley Furniture. I specifically told the sale man that I would like to delivery my furniture on the weeks of Spring Break(3-14 thru 18, 2011). He told me no problem and that they had plenty of time for that. Then the weeks of Spring Break went by but I still didn't hear the delivery people call me up, so on March 15-2011 I picked up the phone to called them up to see what's up. The customer service picked up the phone, and asked me all the information so she can looked up my info. Then she told me that my order was going to be late, so I asked them why. She told because all the stuff that I ordered was NOT delivered to them yet. I was pissed because they failed to inform me on the situation. Then I asked to speak with the manager there. He told me I had a reason to be pissed but there was nothing he could do. He offered to deliver a portion at a time. I didn't like that idea and he told me it was going to be delivered on April-04-2011. (That was my experience with Customer Service). On April-10-2011, they finally delivered my furniture. After informing the delivers to be careful they broke my light fixture and also gave us attitude. I called in the same day to report a claim. They didnt call me back until Tuesday after I called them back again. I had talked with a girl named Nicole(972-336-0339 ex=1547) she offered me a settlement of my light fixture for $50. I told her that would not work for me, she said because I didnt have a receipt neither the model number that's all they can offer me. Let me ask you this do you kept all the receipt of everything you own? Keep in mind next time if this ever happen to you don't tell them the true. What kind of services do your have? In delivering my merchandise you broke my light fixture and thats the best your can do? of course I didn't gave up I contact Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. on April 15,2011 and told them same story that I wrote on here. Below are what they responded back to me: Hello Kelly,Thank you for contacting Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. in Arcadia, WI. Each HomeStore is an independently owned HomeStore. As such, the owners of the HomeStore develop and implement policies and procedures regarding customer purchases, deliveries and warranty claims. I am concerned about your situation, so I am forwarding your email directly to the HomeStore manager, please provide me with the city and state where you purchased Your items. Andrew~ Ashley Internet Communications Then I email them back to provided them the information that they asked for on Monday April-18-2011 and haven't heard from them since. The reason Im writing this email is to let anybody read this and the whole world be aware of their customer service and delivery people are very unprofessional. I am angry with these people and just want to warn everyone please warn everyone-- BUYER BEWARE-- DON'T buy from this company....they need to be put out of business. Thank you for reading my complaint. |

This company engages in sleazy sales practices. What they say and what they do are two different things. "One thousand and two" was "One thousand two hundred" on the contract. They told me I had 3 days to cancel. i did not. Beware. Just don't go in there. |
