This all started a year ago in June 2010. We contracted ars to install a new AC unit Furnce and Air ducts. All have been installed. The AC unit does not cool our house. Ars gave us multiple promises and guarantees in writing. We where sold a OVER SIZED unit from a employee who was fired shorty after this. This unit is to way big for my small home and does not work correctly. Since June of 2010 I have had up to 50+ people in my home at the least every other week trying to fix this problem with no result. I have talked to Managers cooperate customer care and nothing. Our home has had 5 holes (air vents) in my walls and floors still not working, I have had and a small addition to the walls in my kitchen a make shift air vent from floor to ceiling, also additional insulation added in my roof where they had to cut holes in my flat roof every 2 feet. With that end result in nothing by my roof leaking and causing even more damage. Then over a year later I get a call from my point of contact that they can not figure out the problem and are referring us to home depot (pawning us off). Which was the company who let ARS stand in the store and sell there product. I still have not heard from home depot thats a new can of worms. And have now been cursed with a new problem due to ARS. One of the selling points when buying this AC back in June 2010 was a rebate from excel energy all you have to do is have the contractor ARS fill out one form and send it in by the dead line which was July 31st 2011. This form has been filled out and sent in about 5+ time and returned to ARS 5+ times due to missing information from ARS. I was just informed by Excel that this happened again and ARS did not return this to Excel on time. So now I dont get my 500$ rebate .....On top all this the local manager pawn use off to someone below him who then left the company so we where then pawned off on someone else that tried to help but had no clue what she was doing..short story the customer service was not good in fact really bad never called us back when I would call them I had to call at LEAST 2 times before getting a call back ..So we where ripped off sold a unit that should be able to cool at least 3 my houses thats how big it is. But yet on a hot day 90+ it was just as hot inside my house with the AC on 24/7 . So this energy efficient AC is working all day costing me money to cool my house but never actually cooling it till 12am midnight. Not sure what my next step is or should be |
