The reason behind taking this drastic measure is due to our dissatisfaction with the way Mr. Jeff Arturo handled the misunderstanding that occurred in regard to our $1000 payment, which was supposed to go to Jericho Terrace. When we met with Mr. Arturo on April 18, 2011 to sign the contract for Jericho Terrace and deposit the remainder of the $500 deposit required, he showed us the outline of the payment plan for Jericho Terrace, at this time we never discussed a payment plan for the services Mr. Arturo would be providing. The next payment for Jericho Terrace was due July 1, 2011. We asked if it was ok to make the payment to Mr. Arturo seeing as how our complete package including the hall was with Ariana Studios, Mr. Arturo said that would be fine and he would take the money over to Jericho Terrace. In the coming months we made two $500 cash deposits one on 5/7/2011 and another on 6/1/2011 to total the $1000. On June 28, 2011 I received a phone call from Jericho Terrace asking us for our June payment I said Jeff Arturo from Ariana Studios had it. One month later on July 9, 2011 I received another phone from Jericho Terrace saying that they never received our payment; I again told them that we had given our payment to Mr. Arturo since June 1st. On the same day I received a call from Mr. Arturo asking me if I had made my payment to Jericho Terrace, I explained to him that we had made two payments of $500 to his assistant for Jericho Terrace. Mr. Arturo informed me that the entire payment of $1000 could not go to Jericho Terrace because he needed a deposit for my services with Ariana Studios. I informed Mr. Arturo that our payment of $1000 was for Jericho Terrace and that we had made no arrangements with him to take any portion of that money for his services. Although I was very unhappy Mr. Arturo and I came to an agreement that he would give $500 to Jericho Terrace and retain $500 as a deposit for his services. Up until today 12/08/2011 Mr. Arturo has not given Jericho Terrace our money. In an effort to resolve this matter when I informed Mr. Arturo on 12/05/2011 of my decision to terminate our contract, Mr. Arturo once again said that he would give $500 to Jericho Terrace and keep $500 as a deposit for his services we could move forward with his company. Mr. Arturo informed me that he would call Jericho Terrace to make the deposit and call me back. As of today 12/08/2011 Mr. Arturo has not contacted me. In addition, I have spoken to the representatives at Jericho Terrace who informed me that Mr. Arturo did not call on 12/05/2011 as he indicated he would. Mr. Arturo provided us with a fantastic package and I would have had no problem at all providing him with a deposit for his side of the services had he asked for one and outlined a payment plan for us the way Jericho Terrace did. Instead Mr. Arturo chose to lie to me and tell me he was going to give Jericho Terrace our money when he had no intention of doing so. This whole situation could have been resolved if Mr. Arturo simply gave Jericho Terrace the $500 like he said he would. Instead he chose to jeopardize our entire deal. I find it very odd that a business man such as himself would lose business all for $500. |
