Anthony Jefferson AKA Tone or Tre Boogie should not be trusted. He says he works for the West Coast Violators and he’s managed Lil Kim, Dirty Money and many more artists. He is a liar! He has worked with Snoop Dogg’s camp, but he’s burned his relationships in that camp as well as others. During the American Music Awards in 2010, Tone was contracted to book Nicki Minaj for us. He claimed to be able to get her to put on her social networks that she will be at our event. We met Tone at the J.W. Marriot at Nokia Live. We had him sign the contract and we gave him half of the booking fee. I have him on video after we signed and made the exchange. We put in the promotion dollars and time to promote the event. I reminded Tone to have her social network the event. Nothing was showing up. He claimed he would get her to do it. He even said he would see her and get her to do a video. The day before the event, nothing was promoted by Nicki Minaj. At this point the club promoter and venue were questioning the validity of our talent connection. The day of the event, Tone did not pick up his phone or respond to any text or emails. Nicki Minaj did not make an appearance at the event. The club promoter and venue said that they were going to sue us. I was in the most stress I have ever been in my life. We owed the investor their money back and the threats of possible law suits for a fake party. I was planning to make sure Tone would not get away with his shady ways. I did my own investigation at the American Music Awards after party. I found shady Tone there and confronted him. I got him on video camera confessing to all his wrong doings. He said that we can get the money back from him. I said if we can get the money back from him, then why is he not answering his phone calls. He knew he was cornered so his driver interrupted us and said he has to talk to him about some business. Tone told me to hold on for a second. Like a coward he jumped into his car and drove off. I called him and he still continued with his shady ways and said that I can come to his place and get the money myself. Of course I wasn’t going to go to his place by myself. He said he would pay the money back. I kept contacting him and no funds were returned. Eventually he stopped contact. Months past and now it’s been over a year and he still hasn’t paid back the money. I ran into him in November 2011 at Ron Artest’s birthday party at the Supper Club. I confronted him again. He continued to lie and said that I can get the money from him. I told him he better pay the funds back or his scamming way will be told to everyone in our circle and all over the internet. Do not do business with Anthony Jefferson aka Tone or Tre Boogie. He is a scam artist!
