I had been surfing the net for the dealers under Hal Leonard Publishing on whom i can buy choral sheets with a low shipping cost. Included in the list is AngelMusicUSA.com. It did not mention though that they do international shipping so i was curious. They do have a shipping page with rates and all but i am not sure if this would be applicable internationally. So i sent them an email thru their contact us page and inquired if they do international shipping as i am from the philippines. Futhermore, i really needed to know how much the shipping would cost as i would also consider this in my sales project to the choirs here in the philippines. They replied to me on christmas eve and said, "thanks for the scam invitation but i am not interested." Like woah!!! I was stunned because i was expecting some respect especially from a religiousnamed website! I, of course replied, "thank you for the insult especially on a christmas evening. Just so you know, i had been checking all hal leonard distributors online because i really am interested to purchase by bulk because we dont have specialty shops for sheet music in our country. Filipinos are musical people and i only hoped that i can further expand the limited musical resources. Thank you." Today, they replied... "You are quite welcome - feliz navidad." I am pretty sure that this website is not a scam... however so, i couldnt help but report them because they have insulted me when all i was asked was a generic question... do they do international shipping and how much it would cost me... that was all... I find it disrespectful and rude... they have no right to be sarcastic and mean to me. i do not demand for anything ... except for an apology... if i was running a business, i would try to accommodate questions and stop thinking that curious questions can be considered to have come from scammers. |
